S08E31: Can the rest win the West? (AFC West Preview)

This week the AFQ boys look at the AFC West and figure out can anyone unseat the Chiefs as the head of this table? Following a difficult to watch first season with Russell Wilson, the Broncos have brought in Sean Payton to try to right the ship. Can he turn it around, and does he have the power to bench Wilson if things aren’t going their way? The Chargers, ever the off-season darlings, have been relatively quiet this year. The removal of Joe Lombardi is a positive for the offence, but this might be last chance saloon for their head coach if they can’t get over the hump or at least, not drop a 20 plus point lead in a playoff game. The Raiders are looking to setup Patriots Nevada edition with Josh McDaniels, Jimmy G, Jacobi Meyers and an athletic rookie TE. They have some top players like Davante Adams, but for some reason feel a little flat. Could this be the calm before the storm? Finally, the Chiefs, the defending Super bowl Champions. They’ve lost a number of players to free agency, there are question marks at WR, some movement in the offensive line and a young defence, but is it still a case of in Pat Mahomes we trust? Last year was meant to be a reloading year, so what is the ceiling on this team?
