S1#18🌞😎🇺🇸🇬🇧 : Stalingrad building, housing and urban resilience in Paris

Designed by the Fresh Architectures agency, the Stalingrad building, delivered in December 2013, borders line 2 of the Paris’ metro. Building an apartment building on this site was a real challenge. What were the architectural responses provided by the architects on this particularly exposed plot of land that enabled Fresh Architectures to win the competition?  The architectural solutions detailed in five minutes provide insights into the role played by this exemplary sixteen social housing units building, both as the heart of the city and in the careers of its designers.  Hébergé par Acast.
