S1 E11: Donkey Basketball, Humility and Entrepreneurship: A Look "Behind the Gate" with Author and Coach Sammie Knight

Rise Up Nation, meet our guest Sammie Knight!   In this episode, we learn more about Sammie and his incredible journey to entrepreneurship. We talk about when business isn't going well, an individual is usually struggling or distracted in their personal life. We talk about the importance of building relationships and asking people about their personal life first. Sammie also shares with us a nugget of wisdom about writing down his thoughts and things he needs to do before he goes to sleep so that he can hit the pillow and have a restful sleep. This is a good one y'all!    The single most important accomplishment in his life was dating his wife 48 years ago as a couple at 16 yr olds. They've been married for 43 years.  They have two sons and two grandchildren.   After over 18+ years in corporate America with AT&T, Hartford Insurance, Bryan Foods-a division of Sara Lee, he turned his sites to entrepreneurship.    He spent the last 25 + years as an owner, managing member, and operator in the entrepreneurial space of the outdoor industry, an owner of five Remax offices, Motto Mortgage,  Summit Property Management, Oxford Appliance Repair, and three real estate investment companies.
