S1, E11 - Unhealthy and Disturbing Stereotypes

Well this was an interesting/difficult/troubling one. With everything that has happened in the UK due to the awful kidnap and murder of Sarah Everard, we struggled with this episode. Usually we would focus on a good old genre homage but some stuff here, specifically around violence towards women and how people talk about it,  really didn’t work for us. We hope we’ve dealt with these things sensitively and that we don’t trigger anyone. Having said that, we did find time for some laughs including Katie’s very detailed back story for Mitch and Gale, Friday the 13th ‘japes’ and another table worth chatting about at Dawson’s house.
