S1 E18. Like Father, Like Son; USA Lacrosse HOFers Alan & Darren, Part II.

In this second installment of our three-part interview with the father/son duo and USA Lacrosse HOFers Alan and Darren Lowe we delve into Alan's experience playing for Team USA back in the early 1970s. Next we hear of how Darren, who would eventually lead Team USA to gold in 1998 and 2002, strived to overcome adversity after being cut from the squad following the 1994 team tryouts. Both Alan and Darren describe the family and Team USA scene at the 2002 World Championship where Darren was reunited with his younger brother on the squad and how they all celebrated the surreal moment as the games were held in Australia, the site where Alan had won gold with Team USA exactly thirty years before. This is an episode you might need to listen to twice!NEW BOOK!Inside the Recruiting Game: Insights From College Lacrosse Coaches-Available on Amazon.com as an Ebook and paperbackDonate to Harlem Lacrosse Summer Camp: https://www.harlemlacrosse.org/gmvs2025 Links to training videos: Master The 5 Best Dodges From the Wing!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_7LDOcQQ6Q&t=88sBlazing Shots... on the Run!https://youtu.be/XiptPlM63oQCheck us out...On YouTube @jaymcmahonlax23On Instagram @jaymcmahonlax23On Facebook @: facebook.com/jmcmahonlax23.
