(S1, E18): The General Conference
from Adventist History Podcast Hosted by Matthew Lucio
In this episode (the final of our trilogy covering the organization of the Adventist church), we talk about the final steps that led to the formation of the general conference, and it's first president, who just happens to be the Adventist church's first "badventist." Along the way, we also eavesdrop on the infant church's idea on whether belief in Ellen White as a prophet should be required to anyone who wants to become an Adventist. The answer may surprise you!
