Steve and discuss the dawn of the color commentator. Steve brings up the beginning of the new age of color broadcasters, starting with Dandy Don Meredith. We discuss some of our favorites and how the position has changed from the rah-rah light-hearted announcer to the X's and O's and data-driven color commentator. Again, Steve rejects more information and knowledge and I chide him about it.
