Birmingham was the head man at Mayfield HS, College of the Southwest, New Mexico Junior College and the University of New Mexico. Coach Birmingham has won a high school state championship, College National Championship, 7 Mountain West Championships, National Coach of the year, 3 Mountain West Coach of the year titles and was inducted into the NJCAA Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame.
