We talk about the Secretary’s morning experience helping MDF with the urban deer transplant project, the department’s focus on restoring sagebrush habitats, his focus on the “frontlines” of the department to work on the landscape, and more. MDF President/CEO Miles Moretti also joins us to describe how MDF will be able to be even more engaged in restoration projects through this initiative. Finally, the secretary describes his day at the Western Hunting & Conservation Expo and the importance of getting kids and families together in the outdoors.
