S1 | E30: Cultivating Inner Success to Achieve Your Desires

from Seeing Your Inner Brilliance · host Charlsey Childers

Take an honest inventory! Does your doing and the actions you're taking bring you more satisfaction than when you're being? If so, this could be a sign that you're overcompensating your doing in order to prove your worth. This is a common thing among high-achieving women!Mentally, we may know that our worth isn't based on our performance or productivity. But it's easier said than believed. I have often feel pressure to do more and be more. Maybe you have too. I realized that I've been falling victim to the "should story" - thinking I should be a certain way or do certain things in order to be successful. But the truth is, I am enough just as I am. I don't need to force myself to be someone I'm not. I am worthy, capable, and deserving of all good things. When I operate from this place of knowing, I am unstoppable in my pursuit of success and impact. In this episode, I break down the psychological reasons for why we feel the pressure to constantly do more. Tune in now to learn:1. The pressure we feel to succeed may be coming from our own expectations of ourselves, rather than from external sources. 2. We may be falling victim to the "should story" - the belief that we should be doing or measuring up to certain things in order to be successful. 3. We can heal the root causes that keep us stuck in this cycle by going deeper and uncovering our hidden beliefs.Other episodes you'll enjoy:The Lie of Doing It AllLoving Yourself to Success with Jen GutfriendWhat to Do When You Feel Behind in LifeShoot me a DM to join the waitlist:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/charlsey_childersSelf Worth and Confidence CoachingCultivating an internal definition of success centered around who you are instead of what you do takes time.
