S1 E31: Canadian Hockey League Enforcer, Robert Frid

Robert Frid is a retired Canadian Hockey League Enforcer & he is a walking miracle. The primary job of a Hockey Enforcer is fighting, and with fighting come concussions and brain injuries. Playing hockey from childhood, Rob has been diagnosed with a list of brain injuries & diseases and he has been through many treatments, including cannabis which has profoundly increased his quality of life. As a teenager, Rob joined major Canadian junior hockey club, The London Knights. A few years later, at the age of 19, he was invited to the St Louis Blues Training Camp. Rob credits marijuana treatment for helping him transition off long-term government disability. During his process of healing and recovery, Rob hooked up with Athletes 4 CARE (A4C) and has become an Ambassador.
