S1 E35: She Faked her Kidnapping for 6 Years: The Search for Sherri Papini

Sherri Papini was a loving wife and mother of 2 from Redding California. Sherri left her home on November 2nd, 2016 to go for a run in Mountain View, California. This was normal because Sherri often went on runs but what wasn’t normal was when her husband came home from work to find Sherri wasn’t home, wasn’t answering her phone and the kids were never picked up from daycare. This would be the start of a 22 day manhunt for Sherri and on Thanksgiving, Sherri returned home. She returned with broken bones, cuts, bruises, sleep deprived, extremely malnourished and would tell the story of her horrific captivity for the next 6 years. Until, however the public started to notice some odd hiccups with Sherri’s story that made people take a deeper look into Sherri. Could Sherri have actually faked her whole kidnapping for 6 years?
