We're talking about California based band Spirit who produced some of the most critically acclaimed albums of the era. While they are not the first name that comes to mind when discussing the greats, they have been associated with such luminaries as Ry Cooder, Neil Young and Jimi Hendrix and many would argue that they deserve just as much credit as the aforementioned. If that sounds tantalizing enough, give us a listen.
