from iFraud Deep Dive · host iFraud Foundation

Send us Fan MailThis episode of the Deep Dive discusses the lawsuit Cecilia Okoroama v. Alla Kleban, Esq., et al., currently before the Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of Queens. The first document, an Affidavit of Plaintiff in Opposition of the Motion to Dismiss, details the plaintiff's claims that her attorneys, Alla Kleban and Eric Subin, allegedly pressured her into predatory legal funding agreements with high-interest rates, sometimes exceeding 600%, by disguising loans as sales of property and breaching their fiduciary duties, resulting in a significantly reduced settlement payout. The second document is an Affidavit of Alla Kleban, Esq., filed in support of her motion to dismiss, in which she denies having any ownership interest in the funding companies or receiving any fees or compensation from them in connection with the litigation funding obtained by the plaintiff.  The interesting part is that despite their denials, the facts appear to be showing a very different story.  Let's Dive In!Support the show
