S1:E59 One Time Candidate with Christina Estrada

Check out my latest podcast with former NM House of Representative for district 50, Christina Estrada from Estancia, NM. With Host Dinah Vargas and Stella Padilla- also former House of Representative candidates for NM in 2020. As you know, last year I ran for the New House of Representatives for district 10. I was one of many conservative Republican women breaking political and social barriers in our quest to take the NM House and Senate.  113 candidates were recruited to run for state seats and women made up nearly half of that slate, which also includes several Native American and Hispanic candidates. It was an uphill battle and the odds were mostly stacked against most of us. For me it was cruel and unusual. I'm happy I was a part of it, even in the fall out of election night 2020,  I really can’t complain. Christina and I met on the campaign trail of 2020 and she has become someone I respect and admire.
