Do you ever think, "what's wrong me with? Why did I do that? Ugh, I'm so stupid?" Or have you ever had a thought that kept spinning in your mind over and over again?I get you. This thoughts are hard and they happen to all of us. We can even get so used to hearing this negativity that we confuse it with ourselves. When not dealt with in a healthy way, this negativity shows itself in many different ways. For instance, it can damage our confidence and self worth, cause us to not believe in ourselves, or get in the way of our success. When these negative thoughts are extreme, the manifest in extreme ways: anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, etc.Today's guest, Nancy Daniels, has had a successful career as a radio and tv reporter, and is now coaching people on how to use their voice on camera. When her thoughts manifested into a mental health disorder at a young age, it hugely impacted her confidence. In this episode, she shares how she first recognized that her thoughts were more than negative thoughts, cultivated the courage to get the help she needed, and the number one thing she did to build her confidence again in herself.
