S1 E7 Destination unknown. Trevor Jenkins speaks to Kaylie Kay novelist & Cabin Crew.

from Not Just Crew: Inspire - Encourage - Support! · host Trevor Jenkins

Novelist Kaylie Kay speaks to Trevor Jenkins about life as a crew member and it's inspiration in becoming a writer. She describes her method of putting a story together, for her novels about the double lives of cabin crew on the fictional long-haul airline Osprey. Kaylie became a writer after she had to leave her family behind on a long trip to the caribbean. She was due to take them with her, but the flight suddenly went full. She became proactive in her understandable upset, and set about writing her first book after an idea she had on crew rest. She was keen to stress anyone can become a writer. I found her really inspirational in the way she put together her novels, from concept, right through to self publishing both paperback and Kindle. Her titles include: "Because she could" (2018), "Under Grey Clouds" (2018). & "Without a doubt" (2019). www.kayliekaywrites.com Concept:  Trevor Jenkins Voice Over:   Ally Murphy: www.allymurphy.co.uk Main Artwork:  Robin Osolinski, (http://www.robin-osolinski.com/), Photography:   Ed Golding This audio production has been produced in association with Airsupport International Airways. www.airsupport.me If you have any stories you’d like to contribute to our podcasts for future episodes, please contact us at [email protected] Music: “Destination Unknown” by Missing Persons 1982
