S1 E7: The Arrest

The Yorkshire Ripper is caught — not by a detective, but by two traffic cops checking number plates. On the second of January, nineteen eighty one, Peter Sutcliffe is stopped in Sheffield, weapons dumped in the dark beside him. Hear how a fifteen-hour confession on the fourth of January ended five and a half years of terror across the north of England. New episodes daily — one complete case every season.
