It has already existed in the ages before us.… Ecclesiastes 1:9There is this sense of wonder mixed with humility each time I come to see that our being here on earth is not new and what we see happening around us is not new, but strangely a good number of us have not come to appreciate this, and somehow we make the same old mistakes.We are surrounding by huge historical data warehouse that avails us with great information source for us to glean from and not repeat the mistakes from the past, but somehow we still make those mistakes.In this episode of the Word Café, the crux of my thought is a question that bothers on History, if it a friend or a foe.History is one phenomenon that clearly has all of us as players and somehow we all have a part to play in history consciously or not.
