Technically, the verse says; "your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace." I like to think of my military days and the boots I wore. They protected my feet and enabled me (prepared me) to be able to march into battle and to have a firm foundation when I fought. A soldier cannot travel by foot or fight if his feet are not taken care of. Have you ever tried to run or fight with a sprained ankle? Yeah, that's just not happening. You have to take care of your feet and proper footwear goes a long way towards doing that. A Believer's footwear is the Gospel. Do you have the Gospel? Are you prepared to share it?
