S1 Ep 5 - Alchohol and Christians pt 2

This completes episode 4 on Alcohol.  I explain 1 Corinthians 8 and how it relates to this topic.  While we know that drinking alcohol is NOT a sin, there are some very strong cautions in the Bible about not doing things even if we know they are okay.  Christianity is full of people who are broken, struggling, hurt, damaged, and fighting their own demons.  It is important to realize that we are not in this spiritual war alone and that is why we need to look out for our fellow man.  Jesus didn't hesitate to offend his enemies (the Publicans and other religious leaders of the day) because he was trying to expose the people to truth.  However, Jesus did not attempt to be "holier than thou" and show his followers that he was better than them.  Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/reading-the-bible--6491289/support.
