I lost my job, my long time career in aviation with the Army in 2020. Many of us did. I got a job offer in TN that fell through while we were looking at houses. Life was complete chaos and uncertainty. What did my family and I do? We took a 3 week vacation with my last paycheck and made plans to sell our house and move to Texas, while others were devastated and frantically searching for work.
