This week we are joined by our wonderful guest Harriet (a midwife) who shares with us her journey to her daughter Juno. Harriet shares with us the difficulties in navigating infertility, her experience of conception via IVF & her journey to accepting & surrendering to this part of her story. Harriet goes on to tell us about the challenges she navigated birthing wishing the system following an IVF conception & a healthy pregnancy, the impact of other’s views & opinions on her birth choices & how she advocated for herself to have the birth she dreamed of & also the difficulties she encountered when navigating her waiting period.
