S1: Episode 39: Shaun of the Dead (2004)

Our big theme this month is Zombies vs. Aliens and we're kicking it off with one of the films responsible for revitalizing the former: Edgar Wright's 2004 classic SHAUN OF THE DEAD. Join the team as they dive into a brief history of zombies in film, the circumstances that allowed Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg to gush over their love of Dawn of the Dead, and how that turned into a VERY successful trilogy based around ice cream flavors. Anthony and Alix also reflect on how the character of Shaun exemplifies growth, and how that adds to the film.
