Moths don’t just eat clothes is a podcast aimed at promoting the awareness and the image of Moths in Scotland.

There are over 1300 species of moth present in Scotland compared to around 58 species of butterfly so why should butterflies have all the good press?  Moths play a very important role in biodiversity, many are very pretty and they have the most fantastic names such as Beautiful Brocade and Elephant Hawk Moth.

This discussion on moths helps to explain the role that moths have in enriching our biodiverse world while supporting many other species as well as being important and often forgotten pollinators.  Listen to Dr Tom Prescott of Butterfly Conservation Scotland discuss why moths are  important with Helen Bibby Conservation Consultant for SAC Consulting

Atlantic: A Scottish Story The Big Light / Noisemaker Atlantic: A Scottish Story is an 8-part musical drama inspired by the true stories of Scotland’s most remote and forgotten island - St Kilda.St Kilda now lies deserted, but it was once home to a remarkable community. For hundreds of years, islanders endured extraordinary conditions and built a unique society. On 29 August 1930, the entire island boarded a ship and left their home, forever. The series tells that story, through the eyes of two young islanders and the paths they both choose. Home and heritage, identity and belonging, stretched across the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. The series was written by award-winning musical theatre partnership, Noisemaker - bookwriter/lyricist Scott Gilmour and composer, Claire McKenzie - and produced by The Big Light. Atlantic features a soaring original score, traditional Gaelic song and real location recordings from St Kilda itself, immersing listeners in a story about a community out on the edge of the world. </p Healthy Discussions Dr Zack Hassan Healthy Discussions brings you in-depth conversations with expert guests about a wide range of topical issues. This podcast is excellent for:- Exploring the wider social implications of ideas, events and developments- Examining the evidence and logic behind people's opinions- Supporting Free Speech, Reason and Respectful & Honest Debate- Diving Deeper than Mainstream MediaDr Zack Hassan is a front-line junior doctor from Edinburgh, Scotland.
