Star Wars on TV. And we'll be one. Star Wars now. And what our revolution it was, after, I don't know how many years that Andrew came out about three years ago, we finally come, I've come to the end of the season, end of the series.
We're going to get, of course, we'll go through it. We'll ask for this. Who asked for this show for a character that we know he's paid already? Who cares?
And now most people, because of course, there's a little grief there's out there that hate everything. And I feel like it's fine, but a big majority of Star Wars fans are now praising this, whatever way they want to go if it's currently the best thing ever or the best thing since it's last Star Wars. So this is what Star Wars should be going forward. I'll give me all these stories about play, I'm on MoTma.
Great series. Very good finale. What were your thoughts on this last three episodes before we go into detail? I know you just watched them recently.
So you, I don't know how you made it. No, I've been working a lot. I really haven't had the time to sit down with it. So I watched it last night.
I was just going to watch the one episode and watch the rest of the day before the show, of course. And I ended up watching like 20 minutes of Rogue One after once because I watched it all. It wasn't amazing. It really was amazing.
I think it's one of the best series closers I've ever seen. I feel like last episodes, like the last, the period start, the third one was a lot of the culmination of everything the show was building to. And this was one of a send off and a bridge to the movie and to where all these characters we know eventually go. And I was aware that that was probably what it was going to be because last three episodes felt like a climax to the show.
So I was worried that this was going to be like, and this is what happened to bigs and this is what happened to this guy and that. But I was just so surprised that it wasn't that. Like the show just told this last story of this character is it just happens to take place the day before the movie we know. And it also happens to take place like a week before the Civil War starts.
So I really like that. I love that it felt a little bit like the born movies, like everything with clay, I go in through the buildings and then the extraction mission, which is of course Tony Gilroy's masterpiece, the born movies. So that was fun. And I was also like finishing it and being like, I want to watch a Star Wars movie.
Cool. Like I was very happy with it. Yeah, I think what you said, there is the way to go into that. Like every kid didn't feel like this is where we character ends up, even though we did get a lot of solutions.
But it's like every character that gets introduced since season one was special season two, like they get a whole arc. And you find the end of that arc for a bunch of those characters in this last three episodes. It doesn't feel like, oh well, that's an open end. Why didn't they do that?
What character? This character was wasted. Like every single character. Like five or six episodes ago are now main characters and they all get a full arc to go through it.
Honestly, when I watched it on Tuesday, which I watched all three episodes, which is only the second time I've done this, I was a bit underwhelmed because I think I was like, you said, like all this is definitely not a lie. It's going to be a big thing. So I was, I guess my expectations were a little bit different, but that's why I didn't post anything and said, let me just sit with it. I think it's going to be one of those things that remind them here when I watched that couple out here on Doctor Who, then I finished like that.
It's not my favorite, but when I think about it has some of my favorite moments. So I think it's going to be like that. And then when I watched it on Wednesday, again, all three back to back. And like, oh crap, each episode keeps getting better and better and went straight to Rogue One.
I was just going to watch the beginning to see how it ties in. I just watched the whole thing. And then you start picking up how everything connects and everything. But again, this morning, I was like, no, this was a great center factor.
So it does set it's a set of for Rogue One, but not a kind of bit by bit. This is how we get to everything that happens is every character is journey and decision to get to that point. So in that sense, I do agree it's one of the better finalists. And I think having that three episodes set up that they did, that wasn't too sure at the beginning did work to tell that.
This one. Oh, yeah. And I think that's the first episode, like it's literally like an hour and a half, but we cut every 30 minutes. And that's when I went to Rogue One, the first third of that movie blows by.
I like this whole like, I think we really need to talk about this. Right now or later? No, no, no, no. We need to talk about the episodes.
But I think we should talk about the Rogue One experience. All right. So let's go ahead and start with again, out for their series finale, make it stop, who else knows and Jada, Kyber, also will do similar with Don before we'll kind of mix and match everything. Hey, but I think like with this, I mean, again, we'll do it however you want, but I think this arc specifically, like, I think this is by far the one that flows for each group of characters, the best from like episode one to episode three, because they're all over the place in the other ones.
But since this is all happening, everything at the same time, like I think it flows like beautiful. Yeah. So let's start with the flashback, which I know is a little kind of weird way to start with, but I love it. I know flashback in Star Wars or that taboo.
Do you do them? Do you don't? Are they going to add to the story or detract masterfully done? Let's try that, tying and forget the word.
So say, well, it enhances the story that's going, that's the telling. So everything that's happening in flashback informs White Clay is making every single decision. Before, even before we get to the flashback, a lot of that we got that little scene that they have living quarters inside of their gallery, when that opens, they get a place with the stakes where we should already come in other with the wicks and all that. That's where they leave, basically.
Yeah. So just as they get set up and I'm jumping, it's not part of the flashback, just getting ready to go meets with learning and they're like, I think we would use stop all our perfect, like, whatever happens happen. Because Lonnie triggers like a secret ultra, important emergency alarm. Yeah, that's the bottom, basically.
Now, whenever, but we find out that Luthen, which was an original name, used to be a lieutenant with a Sergeant Lear with the Empire. We don't know where, what time period. Was it the Empire? I don't know.
That's what I'm not sure. I kind of saw something that they had, Mottrooper armor, which kind of looks like it. I mean, they haven't said what it was. I took that as a Cold War thing.
Non-Republic army. Yeah. I thought it was part of the Separatist War. I couldn't kind of point out what side he was on.
But he's basically being traumatized right now. They have people on a far in line just getting executed. That's when he starts to really make it stop, make it stop. And then we find out that Clay is hiding inside the ship.
It's family's being killed. Yeah. Great way to start, or to make that introduction, I guess, to the character of Luthen, we had no idea why he was so into this rebellion. How Clay I got into it knowing that she was.
Like, we literally knew nothing about Clay. She would just stand on the corner and brood. That's the worst thing is people I saw last week, people thinking that Clay I was actually going to be Leia. And just think that they...
I respect people and their opinions, but that's the stupidest theory I have ever heard in my entire life about anything. And there's multiple people, no one that we know, just people read to it. I don't care if it was anything though. That's the stupidest theory I have ever heard.
It was really bad. I mean, we got to the other one at the end of the street. Oh, they look like it would be a perfect set of for Leia anyway. But then we get this relationship.
Every other brunette in Star Wars. At least they didn't say what's very small. That would have been actually made sense. We better, yeah.
But then we see how this relationship catastrophic, how it worked. They're selling out all this antiquities, all these artifacts that he had. Maybe he plundered them, doing his war attacks and just trying to get rid of them. And then Clay every end that went to, you know, haggle with the prices.
Being the way we need more money for this and then seeing how she gets more into the rebellion, knowing that the Empire, Separatist, the Republic, where we were at that time murdered her family. And then we're doing that other planet, seeing the same thing. And he's like, I'm leaving you behind, but you can see how she starts building that armor and gets that hatred to the Empire. And it all leads to Naboo and a bomb in over there.
Yeah, I love that whole thing with, oh, I'm your daughter now. Well, when it's at the meeting. When it's, when it's, when it's, um, and also that conversation they have after the firing squad where he's like, oh, that anger that you have, I put it away. We're gonna lose a lot, but at the end we're gonna win.
Yeah, just when are we gonna start fighting back? We already started, but we're gonna lose. I'm gonna kick losing until we don't just borrow that anger. It's a great way to have that relationship.
Yeah, it's not a foreign door relationship. Are the equals not really? And also him giving her the chance, I guess, to walk away when they're on Naboo. And she's like, oh, just doing this.
No, this is a choice. If you wanna press it, press it, but take a moment. Take a look at the people around you and decide if this is the life you want to live without having to give all those words. And I do love that.
He gives her the chance. I want to see somebody like, okay, not yet. Yeah, I just needed to know. Yeah.
And then training her like, look away. Don't look at what's gonna happen. Don't give it away. Just look at me explode.
Now look and react. Do you think that word move was a code word for something? I mean, I don't think it's relevant. It shows over.
We can talk about it. I thought it was relevant. He did tell her to move and they're having that conversation about learning and going to meet. And then he repeats that in the flashbacks.
But I couldn't find how it relates to what's going on at the end of having to pull the plug on pull the stuff. Move. Let's get out of my way. But again, I great use for the flashbacks.
I don't think it's like in Spanish. Why are they? Like when maybe your mom is asking you to do something, I'm like, yeah, yeah. She's like, move.
Yeah, I did get it that way. But when he in the flashbacks says when I tell you to move, move, I tell you something to it. All right. All right.
I can just pull in a straws. So let's go ahead to talk about I have it as an imperial deconstruction. Everything starts falling apart. The Loney Young came in clutch.
A character that in the first season came out of nowhere as the ISB spy. We got a little bit within the beginning of the season kind of moving pieces or trying to be friends of the imperials. Slowly going up the ranks. Dude, he got everything.
He's the one. We got to give it up to Loney. I was surprised that he was the one with all the information. He just said, let me just hack into Didera's computer files or get her access code.
He did the same thing that, or the beginning. I love that whole thing that I call all came from Loney and how fragile that information was. Like if the empire was like half more competent, then they are, they would have probably killed Loney and the information would have never gotten. They found out because Didera was copied on an email basically.
So you got to forward to war and check out the information. So you got to put it in the end. Yeah, exactly. It's so stupid.
The empire. You're the one that usually says they're incompetent and everything. They do the most important thing ever. It's not that bad.
Arrogantly incompetent. It's like when Anders says, you're just walking like you belong. It's for them, it's nothing. They think that nothing's going to hurt them.
But he said, hey, I need safe passes for my family. We've done all this. Where are you taking me? I'll give you the information.
They're coming after you. They're going to come after me and get me out of here now. They fucking killed him right then and there. I knew it was the good.
I don't think there was any other scenario where Loney would make it out of life. I'm surprised my mom made it out of life. Oh, darmer. Yeah, too.

I had to build some attention on that whole episode and the whole series that I character that's basically saving the rebellion gets killed by one of their own. But understand, cannot go through everything that Moatma said in the previous talk. I'm more afraid of you now because if they catch me, I'm more dangerous than anything. He didn't want Loney to give everything up.
I don't know what Loney said. What do you tell them? What do you tell them? Yeah, because he asked him the last thing we hear is what kind of weapon Loney?

I didn't think it was going. This is a character I had no opinion on I thought she was just like the pitch in the corner and that final like just made her one of my favorites like by far Today as a character that sneaked up on me I think I mentioned it before we saw a Rogue one or season two talk when I did my rewatch It was like of season one as a character as low like man, I'm getting interested in this character You can't forget that she's there, but she's very important in her relationship with luten But every single I just get expanding and expanding and again like we mentioned at the beginning Is every character in this show got a fool or a fool it didn't feel rushed like it didn't all right now klaya I was on this they want helping her. No, this got built little by little 311 episode 9 episodes to get to that point in 10 11 12 Again, I got that like you said send it back around for the first season how important she was for everything to happen So great ending. I like Ruby. Let's see what she said and everything the way it's building up I heard you boyfriend and her working with unit all that it's it works. It's working for me great But as soon as they show up that everything was fake that they have this podcast and blog and they just trying to bring unit down and how easily They changed everyone's perspective and opinion on the unit and that their line and they just smoke at mirrors that monsters are fake It lost me and didn't get me back. I I think my least favorite so far of these last two seasons I don't I didn't get it. I hated the guy. You know those that you love to hate. I just hated the guy and I think it's gonna come back I think he's really gonna come back.

episode companions and I love a I love Ruby and I love Kate And I love this, uh, unit family that we're getting And in this iteration of the doctor Um, but yeah, I really like lucky that I really had no complaints about it We get to see the doctor beat menacing at the end which this song is this show has been missing quite a lot I did like that power he concerned basically. No one's gonna remember you you're nothing basically How did that work? Again, it's not the way that they don't need to explain how things work, but I don't know how because he said, oh you get invited to the tardis or I didn't want to invite anyone to tell you something like that I really don't know the time period that this happened No, I think it's probably somewhere in between Uh, the suit tag thing and joy to the world or somewhere in between joy to the world and the first time Yeah, it's one of those things. Who with things that I have no idea how they work how they measure I don't care just give me show so it's that part I didn't enjoy just oh it's not supposed to be able to get to work out Does that work? She's either the villain or something related to that I don't mind she showing up like I don't really care that much Any theories on who she is? I mean the easy one is to say that she's the master. I don't think we're going with I think we are men.
Okay, the only thing I and I wouldn't mind it and it makes sense that watch you show you know what she didn't know so much It just reminds me of the last master with uh 14 doctor The thing's my master. Yeah, it seems like the same kind of bill not the same but this this guy was helping them and oh no secret master So I that's the only thing that I'm kind of not worried about it will be a little bit At least we're gonna be didn't drag it on that much.
