How are you doing? It's been a long week. Ten of a long week for me, Rod. Yeah, no, a longer one for you.
I really, I just realized why I feel tired and feel like I've had a weird week. I'm fine. I was in New York last week and I left on Friday and came back on Sunday. So just like a quick jump.
So I think that's why I'm like out of whack and tired. Yeah, I mean those trips, it doesn't matter how often you do them. They creep up on you once in a while. Yeah, yeah.
And for some reason I just couldn't sleep that much in New York. I think it's because of the noise. On Friday, I went to bed like a 2am Saturday at 8. I was already awake.
And I, yeah, I know, I'm definitely so tired. I walked for like 10 miles that day. I was going to a concert at night. So I was like, I'm just going to walk around until I'm too tired.
I did exactly that. Right. At least you made it back. You didn't get too tired and just drop in the middle of the street.
Yeah, no. Just leave me here. All right. Well, apart from all that busy stuff, any Star Wars stuff you've been doing, meeting, meeting.
I took the book with me to my trip. I did not read. You told me two weeks ago. So no progress.
No progress. When it's fine. You know what's been pushing me? How are you?
Every time I go into what? Every time I go into Amazon and I see that the next Star Wars book is like shipping soon. I'm like, oh, okay. Dude, I'll be honest.
I didn't know what's coming out this next week. It's coming out Tuesday into the. What? Exactly.
That was my reaction on this past Monday when I think Michael's Elaine posted, oh, in one week, then you were getting closer to the finale. I'm like, oh crap, I haven't even ordered it. I'm not ready for this. So he's coming out in three days, basically four days.
See, I'm not ready and started reading way seeker. Can't really talk about it because it's, oh, yeah, sorry. I'll just say, and it's part of the book. It's basically very necessary.
It's out way seeking and the council sends in data to go find her and bring her back to curacent. So that's basically the book. I'm going to start a third of the way through the main storyline now. It's going to kick off.
So we'll see where it goes. I'll just say, it's about 80 years after the events of the Harry public. And I guess about 20 to 30 before the acolyte. I'm guessing that last one, but I think that kind of matches up.
Just so you know the time like we're playing. Okay. Interesting. I'll leave it there.

I really don't know why one is a piece on the other. It's a trailer. But that's not a SID. That's right.

Do that. No, but I kind of realized after I watched it a couple of times, like the first teaser, I love the vibe of that one because they kind of, yeah, we're taking the fight to the Empire. But this seems to be like now the Empire is going to fight back. Like it's not as easy.
Yeah, of course. You want to fight or you want to win? It's not that easy. So I love that this earlier is kind of the opposite.
Even though we have some shots of hope of her and Cass and saying welcome to the rebellion, which used to be our calls. I'm here. We kind of worked away from it. We just had different vibes.
I got from this that, oh, no, yeah, they're building a weapon. Krennek is there. Those things from the Senate with Mon Mothma. I don't know.
It gives me a different vibe that, oh, no, wait, the Empire is still very powerful at this point. I mean, it's interesting. I think basically this is the period of time when the Empire is just closing its fist around everything. Because it's the period of time that's going to lead to people being like, not we need to go to war.
The Empire has existed for what, like, 10 years at this point? Yeah, almost 15. So and still like no actual war has started. So this is the moment when things get nasty.
Oh, yeah. And it hits. I just finished. I rewatch.
I see someone of Andor. And again, I love everything about the show. And it hits a little bit different after reading Pata Freer, the reign of the Empire book, mostly the Mon Mothma scenes in season one when she meets with Luton. And she's like, I'm the first one to fall in this little south.
There's a bigger spotlight on me. Like people are watching after reading the reign of the Empire. You understand why she feels like that. So I can't wait to then watch Rogue One after season two.
Because everyone's been saying, oh, after you finish season three, I go straight to Rogue One. Because it's going to feel different. I can already fill it with a book. I can imagine what it's going to be.
Oh, you think about it. This is like a super full circle moment because Rogue One was the movie that reintroduced Mon Mothma too. Or to defend them in a way. That's when Genevico Riley came back to the role.

I mean, the trailer. I mean, that same word D-drah is like grasping for air. So let's go right there. I've seen a lot of people point to, oh, is she being forced choked?
I didn't take it that way to me. It seemed like someone that has bubbling under the pressure. Like she's pulling at her collar just like it's too tight. But it's, I don't know.
I didn't see that. Oh, she's getting forced choked. I don't know. It kind of looks like she's getting forced choked.
Okay. I know that or she's like having a panic attack and he's like, I need air. That's why I took it. But if she's getting forced choked, it's not necessarily better.
It could be an inquisitor. Her friend is in this. Oh, yeah. No, he's not at this point.
Oh, no, can always have. Wait, because it's around the same time period. I mean, I go. Look, it's around 10 or 12 when everyone goes around.
So it's kind of. Yeah, no, he's probably alive. Okay. Yeah.
We'll see. So yeah, I don't know. I think she's just feeling the pressure of everything, but we won't have long to wait. If beta is in this show, that's going to be like the best kept secret ever.
It'll be an incredible sort of practice. If it's there, I have no expectations of being there. If it's off, it makes sense. It makes sense.
It makes sense. Anyone that shows up in this show is going to make sense for the time period. I mean, talking more of a judge or whatever, it cannot make sense. So I think we're going to show up.

Bell organics are not in good terms. It's the end of the book, which again, it's probably 10 years before and or. But it makes sense that by the end of this, they are working together. Okay.
We'll see. I love that shot of sorghara looking out the window. What appears to be Jada with the star destroyer over Jada sitting. And I'll let him know that you might love so, but it's not going to make it out of this little planet.
Or moon, whatever it is. So with the, I know, so we have a scene of Moatma addressing that Senate kind of talking. If we don't do something that monster will come fall of us, which I'm guessing she's referring to the to Palpatine. Do you think we'll get Palpatine in this show as the emperor, not as serious with Vader or anything?
What do you want to see Palpatine in the show? Yeah, I think that would be cool. I will. I'll see.

So I would love if we get like that Senate scene and then we know that he's at the end of the other side kind of blurred, but we have to hear my turn at speaking as the emperor, but we don't get to really see him. I would hate that because I would be there then put it was seen. I'm the other way.
Either have your cake or you know, can't have. All right, then I'm going to say, ah, man. I'm going to say it's not going to show up. I don't think the emperor is.
No, but if he's I just know like him and Vader, it's two characters that if they show up, people are going to have thoughts about it. And I just don't care. Like if they show up, I'm totally fine with that. I'm fine with it because like we said, it makes sense that they're there.
If we're going to have to show us up from the empire, it's going to be able to rebel on his growing makes sense that the main players are there. Like for example, not if they're not, but it might shows up. They really have to work to make it make sense. Yeah.
Han Solo. Yeah. Could there be a story where that happens? Yeah, sure.
Like it's not like you're bringing in old Luke into this. Hey, the world between worlds. It works. I think you will have to work over time to sell us on that with pop the Dean and Vader like no story kind of revolves around them and what they're doing.
Yeah. If we I was going to say forget I seen like the Darth Vader scene in Rogue one when he meets with Krenick like that length. I'll be okay. But I don't think he's going to show up there to first show D.
She's like a low level administrator for him. So yeah. I was going to do a real world comparison. Imagine if they do like a movie about the period in time that we're currently in like they do a movie about us while it's in this moment.
And people are like, Musk and Trump better not show up. I mean, kind about them. That's the reason there's a movie because I also I haven't seen anyone say that it wouldn't make sense if they show up. Yeah.
But you know there's going to be feelings. What wasn't that one? I'm not expecting them to show up. If they do, it makes sense.
And I trust the team behind the show to make it make sense and make it memorable. So I love Tony Gilbert Roy into doing these things. This is the most important thing I've done in my whole life. I think I'm done with it.
I love the little scene that we get with big brasso packs on Wilma Wilma pack in that planet with that we plan to just having fun having a family dinner. And then the Empire show saw we know that from one of the shots that brasso gets captured. I feel good that they're kind of settled, but also bad that that grip of the Empire is tightening around them. I think they're super dead man.
I think they are I think bigs might be the one that makes it all the way. That's seeing that we just hear that voice over bigs which I'm guessing is talking to Andrew. I don't know. But it's saying, oh, if I'm going to fight, I'm going to fight to survive.
I can't remember exactly what something like if I'm going to do this, I'm going to do it all the way. I think it's after brasso maybe gets killed or he gets captured, taken away. I think that's when she will join the fight per se. Will she make it out?
I don't know. There's the question. Why are there in Rogue One? Because the show didn't exist, right?
I think it's the moment we came up first. I'm also just letting them have fun. Let them survive. We'll see.

I know a lot of people say that it's going to grab B2s memory or whatever and put it into K2. I don't fall into that camp. Maybe that's a way similar to the way they rescued L3. I kind of like that.

Even watching two trailers, I can't figure it out. No idea. That's something that I'm surprised for. This show that even though we had a season one, we know where this ends in Rogue One.
We've been told that every four episodes, every three episodes is one year. I can still figure out where this show is going to go. No. If you think about it with season one, it was the same thing.
We didn't know going in that we were getting a heist. We were getting a... What was the other thing? A pre-sonar.
The first one just, I don't know, that ferrics are at the beginning and the funeral. That's a weird episode in the middle that kind of connects everything after they escape. So who shows up? We already mentioned Bail, Vader, Palpatine.
Do we get, like, Gino or so, Bode, Gail, and do you think any of those might show up as we get closer to the end of the season? Bode, show up in like a trailer or something. You think you thought that that was Bode, that Sogara is kind of... Yeah.

So we have a scene in the trailer of Clea, which I love when I did my re-watch. Clea, which is the first time I watched her. She was like, okay, it's great that she's there. She's like, what are those characters that jump up when you talk about the season?
Exactly. Clea is the assistant to... Oh, yeah. But she's extremely important to what he's doing.
She's that person not counting down, but tells you, you're sleeping, you're tall and the who you were, you gave them. All the information about the shape, like you're losing focus on what's going on. So she's this character that kind of works a little bit in the shadows. You don't really know what she's doing, but she's very important to the fight.
And then... Oh, is he in the book? No, no, I'm talking about the trailer now. She's the one that says, oh, they're building a weapon.
They're building a weapon. Okay, okay, yeah. So do you think there's an opportunity that Luke, sorry, that Luke, when he hears that they're building a weapon, that he either has a scene with Galen or that he sends Baldi to meet with Galen and kind of put all those together when he finds out that the end person is involved in that connection between those two? That's a way to bring both of them into the show.
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I think it's a lot. But maybe...

It's very interesting to see how they tie it. And if they start bringing all these characters that we know from Rogue One, maybe we don't need them. Maybe we just one or two. I just want to get it.
So before we started, I asked you about Andor's sister, Carrie. In season one, we know that Andor left, Kenari. That's what reminded me that I'm on the planet. And the leaves are sister.
Sorry, he doesn't leave. He gets taken. He gets taken by Moira and Calim. And the whole show saw within trying to find his sister halfway through the season.
Moira tells him, hey, forget about your sister. Everyone on Kenari was killed. Don't go looking for her. I think that's coming back.
I think that plot line is coming back. Maybe he doesn't find her, but that's gonna be part of the show moving forward. And I hope, as it was... How the show saw her.
So let's figure it out. Yeah, I agree. I think it would be our nice way to bookend. It all started because of that.

I have no idea what he's doing because I don't really see him in the ISB. But maybe he is and he sucks at it. And that's the story. I don't think he'll be part of the ISB, but he'll bring him in as a information about and what happened.
Come talk to us. I think there's a scene that he's in that chamber that we love. I think in that one of the first images I was revealed, even before the trailer came out, he was there in one of those. What if he's force sensitive and he's the one choking?
What if he's raised that? No. He jumped back on the other side. What if he starts like a joke?
He's the stranger. Actually, he's the stranger's master. He took over Plague's body. We got it.

I was like, dude, I'm going to meet with the ISB to tell him what's going on in this sector. My numbers need to be down. I'm not going to bring them a double murder. Those guys were in that city part of town.
They jumped their own person. It happens. Drop it. Then he comes back and the freaking ISB is there taking control of the whole sector.
Like, motherfucker. You're not going to tell you to fall down. You're going to be in a freaking corpus. Oh, man.
So, yeah. I love one of my favorite parts of Andor where all the ISB scenes, like, part of that is such a great addition to Star Wars. I hope we get more of those types of scenes. All those empires scenes inside that ISB building were some of my favorites to expand how the empire is working in this time period.
And now you bring Krenic into it. That's going to be some of the best things we get. Look at this. Look at this.
The Empire falls because Cyril can't follow an order. Fuck. Yeah. Basically, Cyril Karn not falling on order is the nexus point, the trigger event.
That's everything on. It's like they say it away. He is raised that. He is the last hope.
It's like how people say, oh, without Jojo being doing whatever he did, they remember the mechanic. If Cyril Karn didn't eat that blue cereal, none of this would have happened. The last thing Cyril Karn, he's such an idiot that he became a rebellion hero. I was going to ask after the first trailer, and I think there's someone that might turn, will Cyril Karn something happened and turn to the rebellion.
I don't see it, especially for him. I don't see it, but but but all jokes aside, I hope he kind of goes through that because in a way that would also be him separating from his mom. Yeah. That'll be like the ultimate FU to Mrs.
Karn who definitely needs like very good FU. It wouldn't be the first time if Kallos did it in Rebels in a way that made sense. You can do it here. And Kallos was kind of evil.
He was very evil. He massacred the Mossad. Cyril Karn is just an idiot who has a terrible mom and needs a hug. That's really it.
So yes, I hope he turns. All right. We'll check in on two now. Hopefully he turns and he's the one that delivers the actual plans to Baudie.

Man, I wasn't that boat when Season 1 ended. Even watching the replay, that final scene between them, but it's just a hula the moment that he saved her. I don't think they're saying it from his side. Obviously he's infatuated with everything that she's doing.
No, he's madly in love with her. I got it all by five years. We'll see. We'll see what happens.
He likes to tailor his suits get little adjustments. Who knows? All right, I think that's what we can end it there. We already talked about K2 a little bit.
No idea how he's going to be introduced in terms of Andor flipping him. I hope it's in the first arc though. Like I hope we haven't for the entire show. I'm gonna put it more towards the middle.
Maybe the third arc. I don't, I don't know. We'll see. Hopefully, I mean K2, come on, that's one of the best characters that we have, I'm best enjoyed.
Has an electric thing doing press though? No, one has been doing press. Apart from that little YouTube thing that we got, and there were two people there. There hasn't been anything.
I don't, we'll probably get a couple of TV clips before the season starts in again three weeks, 10 and a half weeks from now. I'm sure they're gonna do the whole press tour. So we'll see. All right, so that does it for our look, or speculations for Android season two.
Let's jump to the big thing happening three weeks in the Star Wars universe and that Star Wars celebration Japan. Hopefully, let's take a couple of minutes to do the same thing. Don't speculate on what we might see during celebration. We already talked a little bit about it during our last episode, when all the panels were announced, we talked about all the cool ones that were announced and also what was missing.
We're not gonna retread all those steps, but just kind of what we think might happen, might be announced. And let's start right there with the showcase. So I would say there's no look at the show case. Kind of discuss why we think there's not gonna be a showcase, especially Tidal Lucas, we're under, there's no Indiana Jones, there's no Willow.
There's nothing look at stream apart from Star Wars. So it makes sense that not to have a big panel if they're not going to be bringing all these actors, directors or whatever. Do you think, and we talked a little bit before we started, after every panel, some of the actors, they go to this main stage or this celebration stage where there's a host and they do an interview about the panel that just ended. I think that Catherine Kennedy, obviously I'm guessing she's up there.
Yeah, she's gonna be at celebration. So I was thinking that maybe she comes out early on that first day to have an interview. And in that talk, she revealed something that, I think the same thing that she mentioned during that recent interview that she gave that talked about all the movies that are coming out or maybe expands on, hey, this is why we didn't have a showcase. Even if that Paul Damaron panel turns into a 10 year anniversary, it will take that again. 10 years of Paul Damaron that we really need an hour of Paul. We'll see. And he's only been in three movies and he wants to show up in more movies and maybe he can get his own panel.
Maybe in the first movie he was knocked out for half of it because we thought he was dead. I don't think I was kind of thinking, maybe I'm wrong. Doesn't doing celebration right after the big announcements or at the end of celebration, doesn't another article comes out again on that right?
