S10E02: The Infamous Bridge Road Brewery

PODCAST | In this brewery-filled episode, we venture outside the confines of Melbourne and knock on the door of Beechworth’s Bridge Road Brewers, where we ask ill-informed questions to their CEO, Donald. As well hearing about their enormous core range of beers, we also hear about their systematic use of locals, both for the beer ingredients and for the brewery staff, their CEO included. We then explore variations on Marzen beers and realise our indisputable ignorance on the style. And if that wasn’t enough, we drink a beer that tastes like strawberries and cream and realise how easy it would be to drink a whole lot of it… quickly. Note: We recorded this at the quietest spot at the brewery, which unfortunately wasn’t that quiet. We’ve tried our best to reduce the background noise, but it could take some getting used to.
