S10E6 Fantastic on Plastic
from Scottish Football Forums Podcast · host SFF Podcast
F Bomb John is joined by Scott and Tony this week as they discuss the week gone by and what's to come. It's early in the season so there is plenty to discuss with the European qualifying rounds, domestic action and upcoming Nations League Campaign. We discuss the fall out from Celtic getting knocked out of the Champions League qualifying rounds. A fair bit of focus surrounds the decision not to play a recognised striker. Aberdeen and Motherwell both had comfortable wins in the Europa League qualifying round but face difficult ties ahead if they are to progress. The weekend action saw four games take place in Saturday with the other two being on Sunday. We discuss the importance of Livingston and Kilmarnock getting their first wins of the season. The goal from Rory McKenzie is a unanimous choice for #pickitoot Rangers continued their fine start to the season with another win and clean sheet. The form of Ryan Kent being one of the main talking points. On Sunday Aberdeen got another important win in a performance that has pleased a couple of the regular podcast team. We preview the Scotland games and try to make sense of the Nation's League qualification process for the World Cup. Unfortunately Krys is not on as he always manages to cover it so well. The podcast concludes with some other relevant events that have taken place including our Challenge Cup poll on Twitter.
