Today, our focus is on how the Holy Spirit works in the life of a believer as we continue to explore John chapters fourteen, fifteen, and sixteen. It is important to note that these chapters, starting from John thirteen onwards, center around the last two weeks of Jesus' life. Jesus specifically chose and trained these disciples to carry on His work as He prepared to return to the Father. Therefore, the information He shares with them becomes even more significant. Jesus dedicated a great deal of time to teaching the disciples about the Holy Spirit. Just as they had worked alongside Jesus in ministry, they were now going to collaborate with the Holy Spirit in a similar manner. One of the key things Jesus wanted His disciples to understand is that the same Holy Spirit who descended upon Him in Matthew 3:16 and enabled the miracles in His ministry would now dwell within the disciples.
