Rebellion's a build on hope! And welcome to another episode of Ready or Be a Star Wars podcast I'm your host, I'll be talking a little and thank you for joining us on this Star Wars Saturday. We are back, they're taking a week off, I think we took a week off, I can't even put the days together right now, but it is fun to be back, always it means where I don't get to talk Star Wars. That's why we're here today, there's not a lot of news out there, there's some little tidbits that have come out, but I want to talk Star Wars, it's been a while, that's not been a lot of actual news out there, I know we got a trailer for the new Lego movie or series out there.

There wasn't two into that person, so I didn't jump into it last week to talk about it, but we're getting closer to Mando and Grogumui, Star Fire, we talked about it a couple of weeks ago, so there's new stuff coming, so hopefully we'll get to talk a little bit more Star Wars more frequently, as we've been kind of skipping weeks here on the VOC, we just need stuff to talk about, that's over here today, and if you're here for the first time, thank you for joining us, make sure you subscribe to our channel if you don't miss any of our videos when we drop, hopefully every Saturday when we talk about it, but yeah, subscribe, like this video if you're watching this later on the replay, make sure you comment down below any thoughts on the topics we're talking about today, want to give us a little talk about an official let us know, and if you're listening to the other part of the video, please subscribe to the channel if you want to see more about the next episode of podcast, thank you, and leave us a five star rate in every view, I'll say I was checking just the analytics for our podcast, which we haven't done too much into it, we kind of focused on the YouTube side of it, but our first video ever, which was over five and a half years ago or whatever, it's one view or one listen short of breaking the 100 listens or 100 plays, so if you haven't listened to our first episode go Apple podcast or wherever you into Apple to podcast and listen to our first episode, so we can break that matter and reach the 100, so we'll see how many we can get to that soon. Alright, so our friend Brandon is here, a space, there's a number of other people who are here, so we can get to that soon. Alright, so our friend Brandon is here, so we can get to talk about it, we can get to that soon. Alright, so our friend Brandon is here, so we can get to talk about it, we can we get to talk about it, we can get to a good friend, thanks for joining us, Brandon, always good when you're around.

Alright, so like I said, I wasn't going to do a show today, but I'm not of hours, it's been again, I miss talking so I was a less quiet if you guys are ready and already less talk, Star Wars and Star Wars, alright, so some Star Wars news out there and we start with the return of Poe Dameron, can Poe Dameron come back two weeks ago, we're talking about maybe the return of Mats mates finally, he's back on Star Wars, hopefully in Starfighter, and now maybe the return of Poe Dameron, let's talk about, so during a recent interview with Variety promoting the upcoming General of the Taurus Frankenstein movie, which looks great, I can't wait for that one, Oscar Isaac, which plays the Doctor, Doctor Frank, the Doctor who was asked about returning to a galaxy far far away to which he said in his best Simpson voice, I'm a Star Wars, then he says yeah, I'd be a Star Wars again if there was something good to do with that, so that's Oscar Isaac, meet a new house, he's on a market for a new house, will he see sincere in a possible return to Star Wars, and I'll say I hope, I hope he's sincere, I hope there is something out there for him, this is just makes so much sense for Disney look as to bring Oscar Isaac back, same as the main trio from the main Foysum, I would say from the sequel trilogy, I know Kylo Ren, Ben Solar, a little bit harder to bring back, but they can figure that, but come on Poe Dameron, we all love him, the best Starfighter in the galaxy, he can fly anything and everything, so hopefully he gets to come back, I hope he does, I'm glad that we're now what six years past the rest of Skywalker, those actors I've had a time to kind of mellow out all the experienced good and bad from doing the sequel trilogy and being in Star Wars, which is a big thing out there for everyone, so I'm glad that now years have gone by and they have been able to maybe make peace with some of their experiences they had, maybe they didn't enjoy where the characters went, but now that there's more opportunities out there, different movies are being set, maybe they're up into it, getting back into the group, I'll pull my back on my jumpsuit, so let's get more Poe Dameron into so what project could he return in? First one that comes to mind is Starfighter, right? It is about Pilot, South-level Starfighter, Pilot, it's the next movie right after the Mandalorian and Grogu, so it makes sense if you're gonna bring Poe Dameron to bring him into a movie that maybe center around fighter pilots and ex-wing pilots, I'm gonna say no, we know this movie is going into production soon, either in a month or two, I think by November the latest I think this movie is going into production, so I don't know, his answer wasn't like sometimes you hear other people, although actors from the acting they're gonna be in a movie and the way they respond, yeah he's definitely going to be on the next Avengers movie or what have you, I don't think that he's kind of ready to go, yeah he's going to production in two months, this didn't seem like that, so I wouldn't bet all of it that he's gonna be on Starfighter, although it makes sense, maybe they bring him in for a quick scene or two, he doesn't meet all these big preparations, so that might work, Starfighter is for like five years after the events of the rise of Skywalker, so it doesn't make sense time-wise wise, I believe they said this is new characters and a new scenario, so I don't think they will bring Poe Dameron into this one if they're trying to focus on new characters, but again not knowing anything about the film is hard to say yes or no, I'm leaning more towards no, now you jump into the race Skywalker new Jedi order movie and that yes or no 5050 leaning, it kind of goes up, I was more probably like 80% no on Starfighter, now race Skywalker movie, maybe 5050 maybe a little bit more, maybe this is why that script is taking so long is because they want to bring back those actors and those characters and they haven't been able to kind of meet the demands or meet them halfway or whatever, maybe now we're at a point where I guess like it's ready to come back and now you can get that that script cannot lock down and you bring back Poe Dameron with race Skywalker, come on we need those guys and then if he's there of course Finn will most definitely come back, I think Finn has a better chance of coming back for the race Skywalker movie new Jedi order than Poe Dameron, but I'll take it, it does again bring those characters back I think this is gonna be said 10 years after the race of Skywalker, but I think this movie comes out it's gonna be at least 10 years since the race of Skywalker was released, you will take a year or two, so yeah it makes sense to reunite those characters and then if you think about the Simon Kingbird trilogy which is supposed to kind of bridge, not bridge but has, I really have character for different eras, I don't know, I don't know actually I think they said that Rey might kind of pop in some of those other movies as like glue to bring them all together, so it also makes sense that he can be in that Simon Kingbird trilogy depending on what that's going to be about, it's a trilogy so I get more opportunity to bring those for eyes, I can pull them on back, so those two are leaning more towards those two than Starfighter, even though Starfighter at least by title and quick description might sound like the easiest bet, I'm gonna say no, I don't think that, I mean I just forgot his name was always the director's really leaning or preach that script having pulled down on it, so I'm gonna say that he's more gonna be in if he's back, will be in the race Skywalker movie or in the Simon Kingbird trilogy, something that I saw yesterday, a rumor again from not always reliable source, Daniel Richmond which I know again, they kind of just throw stuff the wall to see what sticks and all these in one people can retweet it or repost it whatever it was where I saw it, that Rogue Squadron movie is back into production or it's kind of gaining traction again, and I know this movie I believe they had concept art maybe at some point, I don't know if it reached that point, it was maybe very early pre-pre-production, so I don't think they had gone in too far, I know some people say had been canceled and all that, I think the last we officially heard is that it's in the, they kind of put the applause on it but it's not canceled or thrown out, it's still there, if we figure that we'll figure out we'll bring Paridavis into it, not Paridavis, you know what I mean, the director, and now this makes sense, if you start, I would love to see Rob's Dragonbrack if they can mesh mold it and mesh it into whatever starfire is going to be, and then we start focusing more on fire pilots, we have the Jedi and the Empire, but mostly Jedi and the sitting there, the the original Star Wars saga, the Skywalker saga, we get a lot of Jedi, of course with Ahsoka, with the new Jedi movie and the Donut of the Jedi, we hold the Jedi stuff there, Mandalorian, the TV show, grab all that Mandalorian culture, we got Mandalorian lore and kind of expanded it, if you love it or not, it's a different from Clone Wars, that's up for debate, and with Mandalorian and Rogue, we can have the end or tail end of that Mandalorian story, now let's bring the pilots into it, we have Andor gave us a lot on the rebellion side, let's keep going that end, but focusing on starfighter pilots, being from X-Wing and TIE Fighters or the Good by Suiibo, and if you can join Starfighter with whatever they want to do with Rogue Squadron, then bring a third movie to end that trilogy, I think it'll be a cool way to do new stuff with Star Wars, while still keeping it in the Star Wars universe that we all know and love, who makes sense, same as Andor on paper, might not seem or feel like Star Wars, where he wasn't very Star Wars, you can do something similar now focusing on Starfighter pilots, and I would love that if they bring back Rogue Squadron, mesh it into whatever Starfighter is going to be, and then continue those kind of fighter pilot storylines, and then you can bring Poe Dumber into those as I go a lead pilot, general trainer, teacher, whatever, that's going to be very interesting, I hope they figure a way to connect those two storylines, and then explain a little bit on what being a pilot in Star Wars might be, I think that would be very cool, and hopefully we can see something similar to that. Well, again, let us know whether you can either comment down below, or send some message on Blue Sky, whatever, whatever your thoughts are on this move, or Poe Dumber or maybe returning on Oscar Isis's comments, will you like to see him back, where do you think it might work, let us know, we'll talk about it, we'll discuss.

All right, our second, our second news story out there, continuing with the Cybertrilovie characters, and one that I mentioned, I can't wait to see Mo, it's Rey Skywalker, at this point she was in Rey Skywalker, she was still just Rey of nowhere, but a new book is coming out, out of nowhere catching everyone by surprise, a new Audible, Audible, all the other book was revealed on Thursday titled, that Jaws of Jakku saw in some of our Cybertrilovie favorite characters, and we're talking about one of our favorite writers from the Harry Potter, Kevin Scott, Quitting Opsie says following the events of the last Jedi, Rey struggles to let go of her lonely childhood on the desert panel of Jakku, hoping to have a break through in her Jedi training, she returns to her home world with Finn and VBA in tow, when they made a young girl on a dangerous mission to save her family, they travel through a pitch black turnos beneath the sand where they encounter scaring nojaws, a hunting terror from the past, and maybe, just maybe, hope for them all. When I said it Scott, everyone by surprise, they cut everyone by surprise including myself, this is I believe that Finn Audible Arena that's been releasing in the last couple of years for Star Wars, a lot of them were at least two or three kind of set in the High Republic era, it's like quickly, so quickly since I'll be honest, I haven't really done any of them, there was a Kenobi one that came out last year, I believe I didn't jump I felt all of them are great, I love Star Wars audio books for the most part, they're really good, so we'll see, but Moi, Rey Skywalker, Kevin Scott, writing her again, he's been one that's done great stuff with Star Wars audio books in the High Republic era, so I can't wait to get more into this, I love that we're getting Moi Rey stories, I would love to be after the sequel trilogy, but that's what those movies are for, I'm gonna be, when we get that first post-segal trilogy story with Rey Skywalker is gonna be a big one, it won't be an Audible Arena book that's been half hours long, so I'm not extremely surprised that it's not a post-segal trilogy book, but it's fine, it's right after, at some point in that one year between last July and Rise of Skywalker, she's doing her July training, trying to find a breakthrough, she's back on Jakku, everyone loves going back to Jakku, I love that we get Fiend and BB8 into it, so yeah I'm gonna pick this one up, I'll read this one up when it comes out, Kevin Scott on his newsletter, I think I'll suppose to be on social media, why he's love for Rey and some of those characters, seeing it through his kiss eyes, that the sequel trilogy was, how the kiss going to Star Wars and I love that they have for Rey and that's kind of pushing into loving this character, writing for that character, so I'm right on that boat. So I can't wait, I can't wait to listen to this one, it's gonna be read by Helen Sadler who provides that voice for Rey in some of his Star Wars LEGO titles, so she knows the character, the other book comes in at sorry three hours and 53 minutes, so just under four hours you can listen to this in one afternoon or on your commute to work during your lunch time and then on your drive back, maybe you'll get through it and at least a little bit at home, if not in one or two days you'll get through it, so just a really quick read, I don't expect this to be a big canon opening story, but it'll be a fun story to learn a little bit more about Rey's mindset during this time period and I think Kevin Scott is a writer that you can trust to add something to these characters including Finn, that even if you go well I know where this story is going with the writers Skywalker, I think there's something there that he can touch on, special about her training, trying to help connect him to Jakku, maybe to her parents and we get a little bit more there between all the issues that the fans have with Rey's parentes during the sequel trilogy, maybe we get a little bit more there with Kevin Scott writing this, and I love that this is part of the 10-year anniversary of the Force Awakens, something that we've talked here for a long time this year, especially going into Star Wars celebration that we really didn't get a 10-year anniversary panel for the rise of Skywalker, sorry for the Force Awakens, so I love that this will get in this book to kind of span a little bit on those 10 years of bringing us back to the movie theaters, so I love that this is part of it, that Jaws of Jakku releases October 9th, so almost two months, a little bit less than two months from today, who get to listen to a new Rey story, how can you not be excited for a Rey story, even if it's a four-hour audiobook, I'm excited for it, Jaws of Jakku, Kevin Scott, get it, all right and our final story for today, I love this one, I can't wait for this to come out and it's Star Wars vision, so a new poster came out, a new key art as they called it and we'll talk more about it in a minute, you know why I'm not gonna take this out for a while, I didn't know that's not the one, let me put it back and let me go do this, this is what I want, all right, so during anime NYC, fans got a treat, when they got a first look at Black, one of the new titles on Star Wars vision's volume 3, from studio David Productions, described as an experimental short, Black presents a psychedelic battle between past and present, light and dark, and life and death in the haunted psyche of an imperial stone trooper on the cusp of defeat, I remember again going to Star Wars celebration, all that information we got about Star Wars vision was one of my favorite things about celebration this year, Black is one of those if you just see one image, you can, I don't know what's going on here, this stone trooper looks kind of flanky and weird, was seeing an emotion and seeing that trailer afterwards and reading some of the description and the things that we're saying during Star Wars celebrations, oh man, this is, this is a trip and then listening, reading this, yeah this is a psychedelic trip that we're not gonna be ready for, I think they also sent that interview on that panel that this is something new in Star Wars, not even ever seen before, so I can't wait to see how this comes out, Black looks weird and 3p is not one that I gravitate towards if I just see it, kind of just scrolling through it, when I talked about vision's volume 2, I was very honest in saying that maybe I'm just, if I don't click with the animation style, even the story that I'm not gonna be 100% invested and seeing some of the images of Black, I kind of was reminded of that, but seeing it in motion and seeing that trailer and then reading the stuff behind it and now this little comment, I'm very excited for this because it's just extremely weird and that's when I wanna check, I mean there's some comments out there, our friend Dale is here, hello there, Dale how you doing? He accidentally signed out, I said he's going there, don't worry Dale, thanks for being here, hit that like button, and leave us a comment there, Dale, I love when Dale doesn't show up, if he's not here on the live stream, he'll send me some comments and I will have a conversation on the YouTube comments, but thanks for being here Dale, always nice to have you, I don't know if you caught part of our conversation, I'll pull down a round, maybe returning, so if you have any thoughts about Oscar Isaac coming back to Star Wars, maybe hopefully possibly, where do you think he might come in, Starfighter in the race guy, Walker movie, in the Simon Kingburg, in Something Else, just let us know.

I don't know if you heard about this, a new Raybook coming out, Dale, right after the last July, anyway, where were we, volume 3, oh, so talking about Black, they said something that's, oh this is me, sorry, so something that Star Wars fans that we love to do is debate the meaning behind movies, TV episodes, TV shows in general, characters, books, what's the meaning behind it, that's one of the reasons that Star Wars will live on forever, and it's been going on for basically 50 years, but because we all bring something different to it, how we relate to it, they say about hope, if I have good against evil, growing past what's, that like has been given to you and going to a greater destiny, there's so much I can get into Star Wars, so we spend hours and we do shows like this debating what Star Wars is about, so it looks like Black is gonna give us plenty to discuss, as the creators said that, that's what the interpretation of the story, the viewers, the people watching it, we kind of wanted to leave it open to them, so that's how we made it, so what's the meaning behind Black, what's it trying to tell us, we'll see, we'll see when it comes out and what everyone of us and all the fans out there, how they take it, how they find a connection to it, how they interpret that story, so again Black, which just on paper looking at us still, I wouldn't be the that one that I can't gonna click on this one first, now I'm really into it, I want to see where this goes, so great job everyone involved with Black from David Prodotron, of course the whole team behind, so I was Wishans Vol. 3, like I said they had a new poster and it's right there, let me take this out, great posters, all characters from Nine Shores you have the Ronin from the Dual, you have the Two Stone Troopers, they're from Black, new characters, you have the Village Bright and I believe in me, you have the Ninth Jedi group there, the new characters, the little Teddy Bear, Jedi lightsaber, I actually need to look in BB8, it's great, again, Wishans is one of my favorite things that has come out of Star Wars in a while, love Season 1 of Wishans, Season 2 has some great episodes that I draw with it, I see that first one that we got, so Season 3 going back to all Japanese Studios, very interested to see how it all plays out, alright, any thoughts out there on Black, Wishans, oh, October 29th, this one's Vol. 3 comes out, so again this is a little bit more than two months, so in little less than two months we get that new Rey Audible story on October 9th, and then 20 days after, so three weeks after we get Bishans Vol. 3, October 29th, and I can't wait for it, so alright, that's it, if there's anything you guys want to talk about let me know, put it in the chat, we get a couple minutes, we get a chat, but if not we'll be back soon where we get more Star Wars news, out there anything official of course will come in and talk about it, anything unofficial depends how how much we think it might be official or not, but and it's always great to come and talk Star Wars with you guys for 20-30 minutes, and if there's something to talk about next week we'll be back, if not we'll be back, after that we'll do something to talk about, where's Sati, we'll figure out some point, he'll be back, this is Bish, alright so guys thank you for being here, Brandon Day or anyone else that was watching today and didn't get a chance of jumping the chance, thank you for joining us, we shall return soon, and as always, rebellions are built and hope, and stay safe, be safe, I'm gonna force you with it.
