So, we're getting close to scheduling and interview with the authors. Hopefully we'll have Alan Christopher here live with you guys.
Maybe like maybe not but we'll have an interview with him in the coming weeks and getting the questions ready. All right, but if you guys are ready, I'm not ready. Let's talk Star Wars. And like I said, we're gonna be doing our review of the revenge of the SIS Deluxe edition. Before we do that, let me get my notes ready so I'm not looking to the side.
I can pay attention to you guys as we're doing this. All right, here we go. So, almost. There we go.
I like this one a little bit better. Yeah, that's right. All right, so before we start with the actual book, I gotta say the, sorry, I got my, here we go. All right, now we got it.
So I mentioned this one, we got it on our way a little bit. So this book just came out this past week on Tuesday, October 14th. Again, this is a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the SIS movie and the novelization by Matt Roussova. There's that great cover.
We're talking about that more in a second. The book is signed by Edouen Avazquez. It has a removable acetate jacket, which you can see, let me just take it off you quick, which has the silhouette of Darth Vader. Oh, there you go.
So you guys, it's just removable. What is great is that Darth Vader, she went there and some information in the back. I just put that down. And then once you remove that acetate, it's a wraparound cover of most of the Mustafar dole of Darth Vader.
I know we want right there all around the lava of Mustafar. It has a store-word splash space that's designed by Elisabeth AADN, which has energy and pavement. Look at that. How beautiful that looks.
There you go. Like I mentioned, the cover art and the front end paper is done by Eric Tiananz. Again, it features an African Skywalker and Pat May as a loving couple. And that's this one right here.
Look at that. As soon as you open the book, what could have been the loving couple right there? And then I'm back end paper by Ryan Church, which highlights the birth of Darth Vader. So again, I know this book, a lot of you guys have it already.
Oops, sorry. And also the red ink around the pages with the phrase, this is how it feels to be an African Skywalker forever. And it's right there. I'll tell you why that's there.
So in this book is a 20th anniversary, so the looks of the edition, most Star Wars fans that read books, that read nobody's session, have read this already. So you might think, why am I going to buy this book again? I already have it. One thing I would say a little is really expensive.
I think it's about $50. It's the retail price. I don't know if you can find that little bit cheaper. It's a hardcover book.
Amazing art. Just by the art itself, I think it's worth it. But it's what's inside. Apart from the story, I'm not going to talk about this story today.
You guys know it. It's a reason that it's one of the most beloved Star Wars novelizations. And it's usually in the list of people's favorite Star Wars book of all time. So I'm not going to go into how great it is because we already know that you guys know that it expands a lot of the scenes from the book.
Just the beginning scene of the Battle of a Coruscant. It's about a third of the book. And Matthew Stowers on the annotations goes over why he decided to make that introduction so long. I mean, the Battle of a Coruscant and the rest of the Emperor, that part of Chancellor Poppotty, why that scene is so long in the book, he explains that in the annotations.
But another great thing about this, the looks of the edition is the author's note. He starts with a new author's note, which is about Matthew Stowers and Matthew Stover and his meeting with George Lucas, which is as a fan, right? All of us as fans of Star Wars would love to meet George Lucas. But also imagine the oppression and distress of having to write a Star Wars book.
An novelization to what that point was the last Star Wars movie that was coming out. It was known news of the sequel trilogy, Breville's, Clone Wars. There was no other Star Wars movie coming out. So imagine having to write the novelization to the combination of all Star Wars.
Some other story goes into this thread and how he felt going to that meeting, going to Skywalk around the city with George Lucas and all the notes. He had like very different notes that he wanted to tell George that that was his idea of his vision for the novelization. I think he says he only got to about number eight or something. That's enough.
Let's just talk a little bit more about what the book is. He goes deep into his decision to incorporate elements from the expanded universe. Legends where you want to call it, I believe it's called the universe in this other's notes. There is more hefts and more backstory to the characters.
So hopefully it makes the reading more invested into the relationship. So a lot of people maybe they haven't read the extended universe or they send the universe only seen the movies. So adding those little tidbits gives a little bit more weight to the relationship between the characters when Anakin and Obi were talking about, oh, this is the 10th time I've saved. You are nine, the one on Katon and Maudia doesn't count, which now that's been covered in a different book.
But give me a little bit of hints about things that happen in the expanded universe that might not be canon, quote unquote. But it gives more heft of those characters and when something bad happens to them, there's a bigger relationship between them. And also as I give for people that have read the expanded universe, generally, oh yeah, I remember when I read that part. So it gives me a little bit more of a, I don't know, like a thank you.
I thank you for reading the expanded universe. I love getting that. It was very interesting to see that right now we're used to everything's been so secretive with Star Wars, with Lucas film with any big franchise that that not really stations any out of book. Nothing comes before the movie.
So the TV show, I think comes usually months after or years after. So this book, the arena, one came out before the movie was released. Matthew Silver, of course, hadn't seen the movie. He only had the original script or the initial script for the movie.
And then as he calls it, the collective Lucas film knowledge of Star Wars. And he sat down with a bunch of people to talk about Star Wars. Had the initial script as we know, scripts change as they're filming the movie. So a lot of things, some things that he goes into that in the annotations don't match from what he had read in the initial script.
Or then when he saw that movie, some things were a little bit different. And he explains how those things can work out. So it's that difficult of writing a story. Also where the main plot is already been spoiled.
We all know that I like this guy, we're gonna fall to the dark side. We knew that it was gonna happen most of all. He was gonna get burned off. So we already know what the combination of the story is.
It's very hard for him to figure out how to tell that story when the main plot is already known. So he goes into those details and then about making it a Greek tragedy. Star Wars, he says, mythologies are Greek, mythologies are Greek, mythologies are Greek oriented. So he went into writing and I can fall as a Greek tragedy and I Greek mythology.
And that's how he went into the flow of the book. Some of the literary decisions that he decided to do. And then of course, he's admitted with George Lucas sitting down with him explaining all the points that he wants to get into the book. And George basically saying, he asked George, I do want me to go beat my beat right as it's on the script.
I can't do it a little bit more leeway. And George was like, you do what you need to do, just make it good. And just that little tidbit will just drive me insane if George Lucas or whoever is the creator of this, something that you're trying to expand on, just tell you, hey, just make it good. Whatever you want, just make it good.
As we all know, he did make it good because again, the novelization for revenge of the season is one of the most beloved Star Wars stories out there. So it's going to the annotations. And I think we already know if you guys have heard it's got over 170 annotations and like any great Greek mythology, Greek mythological book, annotations are very important. It elevates the story by giving the reader extra content into the writers intentions behind the different literary decisions that he make and story stories, story bits.
It's funny because right before I started reading this, I was really reading that Iliad, which I switched right down there. And that was thousands of annotations. I was in that mood of reading a novel scene on an annotation going to the back, figuring out what the intention was at that point. So now reading that in a Star Wars set, it was very interesting.
I had a cool flow for my reading, kind of sensations at that moment, but annotations add a lot to the story. So if you've already read that book, you know it backwards and forwards, just grabbing it and going to the annotations and fighting where they match in the story was very interesting. That's the way I did it right now. Just went straight to the annotations after the author's note.
I'll reread it in a couple of months after all the other Star Wars books have been have come out. But yeah, if you just want to go straight to the annotations, it's a great way to kind of get a sense of the story as it was being written. Matthew Stover does a great thing. He talks about it again, and those annotations is the use of freeze frame chapters or point of view chapters.
So a lot of them, like I mentioned in the letters there on the side of the book that he says, this is what it feels like to be anakin Skywalker forever. There's a lot of times in the book where he writes this is how it feels to be X. For Anakin, this is how it feels to be anakin Skywalker right now till he gets to that point to forever. Well, he does that with a lot of different characters with Anakin, which we probably won't know.
We can't do it, we can't do it, we can't do it, we can't do it, we can't do it, we can't do it, we can't do it. And then of course, at the end, we don't do it. So those freeze frame kind of point of view chapters is very important to getting to the mindset of the characters at that point. And moves it away from what just being a one to one description of what we see on screen.
So it gives you a different point of view, again, very great mythological book centered by character, not just by the flow of the story, but how characters I see in the story flow through the eyes. It's very interesting to see he's not just explaining why he's doing the freeze frame, but explain what that freeze frame chapter means for each of those characters. So he goes into detail into those, it's very interesting to get more information about how that works. And as someone as an avid reader and quote unquote, one of the writers that self-polish on things, I read the way that his mind works.
And I'm so many steps behind. I get like, get out working into it again. We all write different, but it was very interesting to see how other writers, their mindset and their process as the writing, something like this. And these people ideas on how to then navigate the own story, how else it might be creating.
Oh, he goes this very cool because we know this this character that has this feeling of superiority over everyone. So Matt Sobley goes into how Palpatine uses those characteristics of Dooku, his arrogance, his self-angurantizing, smartness, his feeling of superiority, and uses them and turns that and uses that to turn him to the dark side. Feeding him false information about what the grand plan is for an against Skywalker. Yes, we'll kill Kenobi the whole turn and again down the path to the dark side.
We can turn him and then we can come down to the galaxy, not knowing that the actual endgame was right now, he could end up killing Dook and then elevating himself next to Palpatine. So you say again, using Dooku's own vanity arrogance against him and how easy it was for him to turn Dooku in Palpatine being the ultimate manipulator. I found it very interesting reading this. As Star Wars fans, we always talk about why Yoda and Kenobi didn't go together to fight Palpatine, why didn't they go to fight Vader and then join in?
Why did Yoda hide out for 20 years or they go back? We all talk about how we have our own turn of reasoning behind it. So from Matt Sobley's one of yours, he was writing this was, so Yoda and Obi won these two Jedi masters didn't go face Darth Sidious together and then go visit Vader most of our because I think Yoda and Kenobi, I think maybe more Obi won. They felt their powers were connected to the dark side of feeding out of each other that if Obi won was able to defeat Darth Vader, that would lessen Palpatine's power of Sidious's dark side powers and that way Yoda might be able to take him.
But unfortunately that's not how that worked. And then I love it how when Yoda falls in the bottom of the center, he's falling down and then he throws Belogana to pick him up and then into exile, I must go. Yoda realizes that war in itself is part of the dark side, so the more into war that they are, the more power they're giving to the dark side. So keep on fighting Sidious and keep on fighting that Sidious at that time point was only going to make them stronger.
So that was why he had to retreat, not die because if he would die, not that he liked dies, if they die die, we know that from the last Jedi. But he needed to survive too when the next person came in at that point looks like I walk and then lay as we know, he'll be able to help kind of orient them a little bit. So that reason enough, if I keep fighting, I'll just keep feeding the dark side. I'm just going to go into hiding.
It's a great explanation. Even if it's not canon, I'll take it as canon. I love that explanation. This is why Yoda decided not to fight anymore and go hide out.
Talking about those point of view chapters, he mentions when he's writing Palpatine as Sidious, or when that turn is coming, when he's about to reveal himself to Anakin almost all the way to the end of the book. He doesn't write him as a person, as a human. He writes him as a shadow when that deception is revealed because he's something else at that point. He's passed being a human basically.
He's just involved in the medieval. And that's why he writes in that way. The use of dramatic ironic to bring the readers in into what we think might be a happy ending, a happy point, and then later get the rug pulled out from under us. Even if we know where the story is going, where there's a chapter talking about Anakin and Obi-Wan being the greatest of the heroes, the MTV every day, there's nothing can go wrong as soon as Anakin and Obi-Wan are together.
And then you know what's going to happen. So that dramatic ironic was there throughout the book and he explains those points in those annotations. And of course the Star Wars, there's a lot of political undertones into it that brought outlines of how free societies fall into fashion, can be surprisingly predictable, how people just as soon as Palpatine gets up there and declares the Jedi, the villains, everyone turns, everyone does what they can to make sure to be on his good side. So it's Star Wars.
It's always there. There's always the politics behind it. So the annotations again are over 170 annotations. I think they're very interesting.
They add a lot of head to the story. So again, if you already know this book, at least go into the annotations. It's a great way to get through it. Don't worry.
I haven't forgotten about the sun dragon. It's very important to this book, very important to the essence of Anakin Skywalker. That is when you saw all the authors going forward. We all know about Anakin's sun dragon heart, the furnace heart, how it feels who he is, the love that he has, what he feels so deeply, how that is who he is.
But it wasn't going to be that way. But within the page now, it's not the original Matthew Storley, but he had already planned for that metaphor that way. When I called it out, it's no way I had planned. I can't believe just like I mentioned before, how difficult it was to me, George Lucas, I appreciate the story.
But he goes on to say that two months, I believe it was after delivering his final manuscript and it was almost getting ready to go into production and to print. He gets a call from Lucasfilm saying, hey, George doesn't like the dragon stuff. It all has to go and you got two and a half days to do it. I think they call him at night and say you have till the day after tomorrow to figure this out.
You have to change everything on the sun dragon, which was the biggest thing driving Anakin at that point. That George Lucas doesn't like it. Can you imagine that? I can.
And he goes into how he went through this expectation of conversation with a person for Lucasfilm and how they figured it out, you're fine, you're fine. Then how am I going to figure this out in two and a half days? And then about three in the morning, he woke up like I got it. They were right.
And made all the changes and send them back and that's what we get on the book. So the original song Dragon Motif was integral to Anakin's fall. And for George Lucas, it seemed like the dragon stuff was something that was outside of Anakin that was driving him towards the dark and towards the turn. It wasn't his own choice.
So another way of pop up in that voice behind him. I guess the way it was written for us, it seemed like this other entity was driving Anakin to make those choices instead of being Anakin's decision. We always talk, don't blame the Jedi, don't blame the yo, don't blame the window for Anakin's fall. It was Anakin.
And of course, there was another entity trying to pull him down to the path. I guess that way the sun dragon was written before. It seemed there was something outside of Anakin driving towards that downfall. So that all had to change.
So, all right, so again, great novelization, great 20th anniversary. The last edition, sorry I removed the asset jacket. But that's fine. I really recommend this book.
If you've read the novelization before, I still would say if you have the means to buy this book, go ahead and buy it. It adds a lot to the story. If you're a person that likes to have your books out on a shelf and a coffee table, you like people looking at them, it's going to get the conversation started. So I do recommend people get picking this book up.
Great authors note, and the sun dragon stuff is great. That's a great, it's really great. So yeah, I do recommend this book a lot. I give it like five out of five stars or probes, which I should say.
So go pick it up. It just came out this week, Tuesday, October 14th. So go pick it up. It is great.
I guess that really, really on stamp of approval. All right, so that does it for a review of Revenge of the Sith Deluxe edition, the 20th anniversary. And now, if you guys are ready, let's talk some Star Wars news. Where are we?
Here we go. Star Wars news. Star Wars news, everyone. It's been a while.
We got some Star Wars news and mainly the first one, because a lot of them are just conversations about people that New York Comic Con just happened this past weekend. There were a lot of reveals. Again, we're keeping with the book theme, a lot of novels, comic books, middle grade art of, a lot of stuff that was announced and more information given for stuff out there. So let's start with the biggest one.
And it was Star Wars Legacy, which is a new novel by Madeline Brooks. I said between the Last Jedi and the Rise of Skywalker and features our favorite Last Jedi, Ray Skywalker, training with the one, the only Leia Organa Skywalker. Trying to repair the broken Skywalker lightsaber. I love it.
I love that we're getting more stories set in the SQL 3.0 era, like I mentioned next week in about three days on October 21st, is the Last Order by Kwame Unbalie is coming out. And that's also a SQL 3.0 book. And this Star Wars Legacy, I'm very excited for this one. Even though it's not past Rise of Skywalker, once we start getting stories after the Rise of Skywalker, this is in that one year in between period between the Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker.
We all want more Jedi Leia. We're gonna get that. We all want to see Rey Skywalker training with Leia. We're gonna get that.
We want to know how the Skywalker lightsaber was fixed. I was repaired because it was obviously broken half in the last year and then it's repaired in the Rise of Skywalker. There's a synopsis for it. I'll go through it quickly.
It's a very long synopsis. It gives us a lot of what the stories and what to expect. Alright, so after barely escaping the first order on Kray, Rey and the Resistance are struggling to rebuild. Her friend needs the Last Jedi more than ever, but Rey feels alone and overwhelmed.
The Jedi tradition is built on masters and apprentices, and Rey's teacher is gone. Leia began a tricer base to train Rey in the way so the Force has looked deep for her so many years ago, but Leia's knowledge is limited. Rey's lightsaber is broken and the specter of Kylo Ren and regrets from the past on them both. How can Leia pass the torch on she, when she herself is unsure of the way?
But then the Asian Jedi texts offer a glimmer of hope. A long forgotten Jedi Tae-Pulon, Titan, that might hold a key to repairing Rey's saber. Rey leaves a chance to journey there and towards the prize of Leia. Rey and Leia's nascent mentorship is put to attest when they discover that Temple and Titan is filled with obscure clues to decipher and our King Tris are complete.
As they work on Ravel the Temple, the mystery is they encounter a group of refugees living in its shadow, hidden from hiding from a first order officer, hot on their trail of two freedom fighters in their midst. With the threat of the first order looming and the circus of the Temple yet to be unlocked, the newly-forshed master and a practice must come from their past, reach each other in the present, and decide what it means to carry the legacy of the Jedi into the future. This comes out next year, July 28th, 2026, a little bit less than a year. Again, a very long synopsis, I gotta take some water.
We all have gone back to Titan, we saw it in the Mandalorian when Grogu reaches out to Luke Skywalker. We also saw it in Shadows of the Sith, the novel from Alan Chris of Auro and Luke Skywalker goes there and has a great scene. Social, a lot of how that, Jedi would say, a scene stone, how that works, it was transported to Rey's Sego, he battles. It has a, like, the first ghost of Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker fighting some Sith eternal, so it's great.
So if you're gonna expand, and I think Titan also showed up in the High Republic if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, going back to Titan, going to the Temple, to the scene stone, learning more about how everything works, secrets, hidden trials, the Jedi text, still having to deal with what happened with Kylo Ren. Give me that's perfect. I would love to read that and we're gonna get that next year.
It's because I fear the next one is, but people are crazy when they announce books in good ways and bad ways. But legacy, so I was legacy, very excited, like a maddening roof. I think she wrote some of the certain point of view and you hope I believe I haven't read those. I can't say I'm not familiar with the writing style, but a lot of people are very excited for this book.
Synopsis is great and very excited for this one to come out next year. So and then if you're on social media, you might have been, you might have seen how this reveal brought the troll cell from under the bridge, broke everyone's mind and it's Ice like Stars, which is written by Ashley Poston and Ice like Stars, the first the first in a new Star Wars initiative of genre novels, which I thought they were already genre novels, but this is the first official Star Wars romance novels. A young adult, it doesn't seem to be tied to anything that we know has happened in Star Wars and we are new, it's new characters, new stories. I'm sure it's gonna combine a little bit or have things that remind us of what's going on in that time period in Star Wars, where it's something totally new and that's what's going on.
Oh, romance in Ice Hours, no, this doesn't buy it, you're probably not gonna read it anyways. But for people that love this type of book, the young adults, novels in Star Wars have been some of the best novels out there, they're some of my favorites. We don't know a lot about this book right now, what we know, it's set a unit happy for the first awaken, it has a dreamlike cover for the young adult novel, which was a couple in search of the happily ever after the naivete far away, the charming young adult romance set about a young adult before the Star Wars, the first awaken features all new characters and mysterious artifacts and the fearsome first order. So yeah, the first order is there, we might get mentioned so what's going on is right before the first awaken set, you don't have, so it's all tied to what we know of the sequel to, at least 10 of Battle Out to it comes out in Summer 2026.
Also, if you don't want to read that, then read that Ray and Leia novel, it also comes out Summer 2026. I think this is great. Romance where he has skyrocketed all the Raylo fan fiction are now turning into actual books into movies which Star Wars wants to, you know, capitalize on this and say, hey, it's the skin from people rewriting my stories, let's go into it. So yeah, I love it.
Might not be something that I pick up, but maybe once we get a little bit more about this story then, I'll see. Other reveals include that we're a new, you know, Star Wars manga, Star Wars vision, Sukuma, the Cobra looks great, looks like a stormtrooper with a lightsaber, Japanese inspired, looks very great, new with the High Republic adventure, which mini-series called Pathfinder, which takes place 20 years after Phase 2. When Phase 2 was announced, the way was, I don't say the way it was promised, but this Pathfinder era, Hyperspace was not a thing, they had to find all the different buoys and bacons and connect stuff, we didn't get to see a lot of that in the stories because it was more tight to build a battle to the open hand, the nameless entertainers who went over to the Jedi. So now seeing after Phase 2 has ended, following the Pathfinder on that search of expanding the galaxy and how to traverse through all the different points of outer, the outer rim, mid-ringing all that wild space, so that for people that follow the comic books are going to be great and also keeps people in that High Republic era that I'm glad we're getting more stories separate from the male main now-conflict, everything, we always talk about that, I love that we're getting those.
Well there's a one-shot comic book coming out of the Future's Master, Killer and Begg, and George and Bint and his co-written by Amit Best, so again I'm great, I'm not gonna read it mostly, but I'm glad that Amit Best has gone a chance to expand his rolling star wars and now to be a writer in a star wars comic book featuring his two characters, it can be happier for the guy. And of course there was more information about the Altor for Andor, I believe they even mentioned the Mandalorian and Grogo Altor book and that might come out before the movie, which I can similar to how I mentioned before when talking about the arrangement, the conversation, things coming out before the movies is kind of weird for the way stars have done things, I think it was going for season three of the Mandalorian and from Mandalorian Grogo, if I'm not mistaken, maybe it has stuff for Book of All of it, but I think there's one from Mandalorian Grogo in the Altor for Andor and a couple of other things, I think maybe the acolyte would know that already, and I don't even know if there was one from Soo-Kav, a couple of Altor books that were also announced and are a little bit more promoted. So great reveals as so, but I'm glad that we get adult novels with the legacy one with Ray and Leia, young adults, novels with not lost stars, but ice-like stars and a lot of art of books, comic books, everything they're for the reading fans. All right, so let's get to some stories, movie news and TV news, and it's most now that things are happening, things are going to post-production, we're getting actors, the cast and crew talking about stuff that's happening out there, and then we got from the Mandalorian and Grogo, so while promoting his blue-screen scene in Bioprick, Jeremy Allen White confirmed that he's voicing the son of Jabba the Hutt, Rata the Hutt, which he keeps saying is one of my least favorite characters when I saw him in the Bloom Wars movie and hasn't changed in 20 years, whatever, we'll get Rata, we'll see how it is, but yeah, he was speaking with Good Morning America, he talked about meeting Jon Favreau and being asked to Jon Star Wars, he goes on to say, I'm a Jon Favreau, and he said, we'd like to come in and maybe talk about doing a voiceover for Star Wars, I love Star Wars, I've been so happy to, and then in the moment almost I discovered the way that the character was voicing, or it's been a fun process, I came into the voice, they hadn't filmed the movie yet, they made the movie I came and did more, I probably have to do a little bit more, he talked about his focus, I was like, what's the one they doing voiceover, seeing more of the film, it's very exciting, it's a good case to see that one, it's gonna be really fun, so again, Rata the Hutt, I'm not too excited about him, Jeremy Allen White, I'm surprised that this is why he's coming to Star Wars when he was announced, it's one of the most sought-after actors out there, he's so recognized for now because of the air, his blue-screen scene, blue-screen scene, who's gonna probably bring it even higher, so to come in and then, yeah, they're just doing a voiceover for a hutt, I hope we'll see how the voice works, but I'm happy that we're starting to talk more about this movie that's coming up next year, and I see only with respect to see her character too much in the movie as the actress revealed also, did your comic contest, she was instead only for a few days, but she was surrounded by all sorts of creatures, that's basically what we have for her, so that scene that we have in the trailer, we turned the, we were planning the artwork, the angry police station, Tewa, is there, Tewa, sorry, Carson Tewa, it's what we saw him in that place in season three, I believe in the same area, that's what we know that's gonna be with her character is, I think she's actually bringing them down the Laurie and Grogie formation to see how they work, I think I'm actually bringing some from the initial mission to start the movie to see how they're doing before it goes to the bigger plot, I know that's all that we get with her, at least for this movie, it's to come back in that if you're only moving on the room or setting them on the Laurie and Grogie as well, they might be a continuation to it, I can give him more to go in the way, but let's step back our expectation for this one, at least he says, it's not going to be in it, a lot, and that's fine, whatever we can get with her, it's gonna be great, so, can we again, it's about six months more or less, five, seven months, I think for the Mandalorian and Grogie, and I think from most of her starts, we're ramping up soon, we already got one trailer, we're getting back to start talking about it, so hopefully we'll start getting more and more of the year goes back as we get closer to December and Avatar Fire National, I'm pretty sure we might get another trailer at that point.
But then moving to the next movie, which is Starfighter, Mia Gough also is talking Starfighter, so doing an interview with Elle magazine promoting Frank Astangi, the other total Frank Astangi, which I can't wait to see that one, she briefly talked about her involvement in Starfighter, and she says, I'm being pushed in a way that I've never been pushed before, this is a completely separate film, not a prequel, it's its own thing with new characters and it's a great script, a really great script, not a lot that we can decipher from that one, I thought she always come out and say that they're signing because she's a great script, I'm always glad to hear it, I'm glad that she's excited for it, I'm glad that she's getting pushed, in a way she hasn't been pushed before, so maybe her involvement in this is gonna be pretty intense, we believe that she's going to play on VLAN, but on the rumors I've been out there, I'm not sure if the 100% confirm, I'm gonna say yes, so she's a very involved villain in this movie along with Matt Smith, come on give it, I wanna know, maybe it's a dark side, if all that rumors for what this movie is about are true, maybe her and Matt Smith are not first order random or add-nose-out, maybe there's some dark side users are trying to get their hands on this this boy out there, then the same side the director for the movie, Sean Levi, he was asked about Mia God, Sean Levi had what he said was, we need a single actor to play a fiercely complex new character within the Star Wars galaxy, Mia is a unicorn of an actress, it's not they could ever say we need a Mia God star because there is no there's just Mia, so I'm gonna give more weight to the character, she's gonna be playing this, gonna be this voice of nature, he's a fiercely complex new character, so this doesn't sound again just you know, run out of the middle, imperial, admiral, or first order official, seems like something more, can't wait this movie, oh man, this movie is gonna be it, I think Mandalorian Grogo, we know where that is going, Starfighter is very important for the future of Star Wars, to see where they can take different tries to the future, if it really connects them to the Rey movie, and the more we keep hearing about it, the more excited I get, similar to Mandalorian and Grogo and Happy, I will be getting people talking about it more and more, and it seems to be that Sean Levi is a little bit more open as some of the Star Wars creators in the recent past, I will get a little bit more tidbits like this going forward, huh, in one second, so I think we mentioned this a couple weeks ago, but there's rumors regarding Amy Adams character, that she is a Jedi with a force sensitive child, which is this kid that then she has run Gossing character to take away protecting and take him through the Rey Skywalker new Jedi school, the new Jedi Academy and then that will connect to the new Rey new Jedi Order movie, and I think that's great, if that's the way it's gonna go, maybe this is why the script for that new Jedi Order movie is taking so long, they had an idea, then Sean Levi came up with this other idea and hey, that's a way to connect them, we have to rewrite a little bit of the Rey movie, maybe that's why it's taking so long, we haven't heard anything official, I think that had good flow to have Star Wars, everything connected and moved to the future without making it episodes 10, 11, 12 Skywalker, the Rey, Sire or anything like that, it still flows as one connected story, but each movie is its own thing, it's Amy Adams playing Marajey just because she has a red hair and she's supposed to go there like no, please no, I don't want Marajey anywhere near this, I know people go nuts about that character, I've read one and a half books that she shows up, not the arena ones, not the main ones that Marajey showed, shows up, I really don't find that character that interesting, again I haven't read her part as the emperor, I haven't read that, I don't make her Marajey, don't make Amy Adams Marajey, that's a secondary character in a Sean Lee, you know, Ryan Gossley movie, and then he can solve the question why has she never been brought up in all that looks like a Waker stuff, so we don't need Marajey right now, but everything else that might connect this Amy Adams character to everything else you want with all the other rumors, yeah I'm on board with all those. All right, I'm finishing up, not a movie news, but TV news has so consistent too, so as so consistent too has rap filming, it is, all these are coming out, people are talking, it's in post-production, Bricella Tower, the winner of Shari says she's doing two episodes, she had a conversation with people and people magazine and flower trans were nuts, when she goes and says, y'all it's so good, it's beautiful, it's thrilling, it's adventurous, it's romantic, it's all the things I want from Epic, sorry, I just got to finish that up and I'm working on the cut and it's just one of the greatest privileges and joys of my life getting to play in that sandbox, people went nuts with Wolfran, what's gonna happen, what is it, romantic, I think the way I took it, I might maybe see talking about Season 2 in particular, it seems like it's talking about Season 2, maybe it's talking about Star Wars in general saying that it's beautiful, thrilling, romantic, but we'll see, I really love Season 1 of a Focus on Break, so I'm very excited for Season 2, can't wait to see when we start seeing stuff, Protestant related, I don't think we'll get anything next year, probably next year, but I'm happy that Bran's that last award is happy about her involvement in Star Wars and even there's Roman season 2, bring it on, just make it earned, make sure it makes sense for this story, and then Hera's in doing it herself, Mary, at least I win, they had this to say that she's but with Collider and said that she will be playing a bigger part this season, Hera was a part, she was part of Season 1 but she didn't have that much, there's a lot of talking with different people moving pieces around what she says, you know I'm not sure what I can say other than having this season with Moira which is fun, I'm definitely in on the action as you say, quite a bit Moira which was great to have Hera, really kind of like you know getting some stuff done, Hera's one of those characters that everyone loves in Star Wars with Loughton Rebels, again one of the best, the best pilot for a lot of people, the best mom of that group, so yeah I want to see where that story goes, Hera's design was very difficult to bring Hera to life action, Twilight's just being humans with different skin shades and with the lake or right, but apart from the Earth, just humans, just painting her green is always gonna be weird on screen, but apart from that I'm fine with their characterization and we'll see how this season goes, I know some people have issues that everyone was very stoic, I believe I was wearing other uses, like I saw it was stoic, Hera was stoic, Hera was very stone face, so we'll see if we can get a little bit more out of the characters this season, but I'm glad that we're gonna get a lot more Hera, she's gonna be guessing with Ezra a lot, now that's thronest back on this side of the galaxy, it makes sense that Hera's gonna be involved a little bit more, so yeah, can't wait for that, but I want to say confirmation, I'm not sure if that's the right word for this, but the episodes are gonna be between 45 to 60 minutes, no 30 minute episodes, I've made my mind fine with episode lens no matter if we get 35 minutes to an hour, Star Wars, if you're not usually by now then that's on view, 45 to 60 minute episodes are great, just make sure the story is that the minutes needed are enough for the story that's been told, for that episode, I care about it's good to have some clarification about the lens, so people don't keep going every week, how long is this episode, how long is that episode, 45 to 60 which is similar to what we get with a lot of the other big franchises out there, so this is last tidbit is that post-production is through more to last one year, and that which the place that releases season two around fall of 2026, and then falls after that release of the Mandalorian Grogu late spring early summer, we've talked about that here, Otty believed that Soka's season two might come out before Mando and Grogu and the entire upload movie, if since it's gonna be the reverse, it'll come out a couple months afterwards, just so Mando and Grogu are beginning or middle part of the year to itself, and then we'll get Soka's season two fall of 2026, it's gonna be like three years after season one, which is a big, big, big gap, I hope that the decipher that's still there, I usually find way that you're gonna have two years, four years shows I really love, and I really love that Soka three years is a lot, of course I'm gonna watch it, some people might just fall out of love with, I'm not gonna wait three years for this, I've just jumped to something else, and then talk about the casual fans, they're shows that I was like, strange things for example, which I love, I've seen every other season, it's been so long for this one, and now I think this, each episode is like, I wanna have, like, just give me a T, if you're gonna make eight, and I wanna have episode, just make 16 episodes then, so three-year gaps is a lot, so I'm hoping that they're not biting their self on their foot, but winning this round for Soka's season two, but I'm thinking after this, it's gonna be a big gap between Star Wars live action TV shows, so we'll see what happens, if we even get more, but if we go straight to movies, after that, which again, that's fine, and then leave the TV for the animated shows, and that's fine, I'm okay with that, it works.
