It's a welcome first for the podcast as there are FOUR women on one episode. Co-host John B and regular Erin are joined by Celtic fan Natasha Meikle, regular contributor to A Celtic State of Mind, Falkirk Foundation Business Manager Stephanie Dawson, who also oversees Falkirk Women's development from age 7 and up, and Airdrieonians fan Katie Robertson. The ladies all share their experiences in how they all got into football and why they chose following their respective clubs, with Katie adding how hers is a family day out as she takes both her kids to the Penny Cars Stadium. Stephanie tells us about her role in growing the Women's game at Falkirk, which leads to an interesting discussion about the Women's game in Scotland and, whilst there are significant improvements in the promotion of the game, the ladies all point out that there's still a long way to go. We then discuss the chauvinistic stereotypes about women in football, in particular pundits and coaches, and Natasha highlights her examples from appearing on Sky Sports News, and the issues with social media in not combating online abuse.
