Cursing The Fig Tree Join us as we did into Mark 11. Here we find Jesus hungry and looking for some good fruit to eat. Instead, he doesn’t find what he’s looking for and curses the tree. What is the world is going on here? As we dive in together, we are seeing that Jesus isn’t merely hangry, he is prophetically pointing to the passing away of the “old order” as he is ushering in the “new order” — the Kingdom of God, which breaks into the world through the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ.
