S1E2 – No Spider Splat, No Hoverchair

Face front, true believers! This episode we're covering S1E2: 'The Spider Slayer'. There's a lot to cover here, from the Smythe family's unhealthy obsession with spiders to the Osborn family's baffling and frankly medically worrying haircuts. ​ Henry and Jack talk about the second episode of the series, before looking into the origins of the many introductions here – namely Spencer Smythe in The Amazing Spider-Man #25. As for our weird lore, Jack takes Henry to 'Kangaroo Country' to jump slightly higher than usual. That's right, we're talking about one of the strangest members of Spider-Man's rogues gallery, and his first appearance in the uniquely depressing and goofy TASM #81. A podcast for no one.
