Whether it be connecting with friends and family keep in touch from around the globe, or helping small businesses spread the word about their brands. However, with that also comes a long list of downsides that could very well be proven to lead to upticks in depression, envy and more. As for the 24-hour news cycle, simply put, it shouldn't exist.
