Does an Ultra-sound detect Endometriosis? Why do I still have so much pain after my surgery? Does pregnancy really cure Endometriosis? What are my options? Many Endometriosis sufferers have all these questions, but feel like no one, not even the medical professionals who we trust so much, can answer them. This is why I am so excited to be speaking to Dr Iris Orbuch in today's episode. Iris is an Endo Excision specialist and the Director of the Advanced Gynecologic Laparoscopy Center in Los Angeles and New York City. She operates at Lenox Hill Hospital, Mount Sinai and Beth Israel Hospital in New York City.  She is one of the few physicians who understand that even though excision surgery is the gold standard for endometriosis treatment, the disease requires an integrative approach combining both Eastern and Western medicine to help patients heal and get them on the road to recovery. Infact, she just released a book called ‘Beating Endo’ with her co-author Dr Amy Stein.  There is so much to learn from Iris today and it is an absolute honour to be interviewing her. So, sit back, relax and let’s have a listen! If you want to reach Dr Iris and know more, please visit her website www.lagyndr.com. You can also call the number on the website. Also make sure to buy her book, Beating Endo, which is now out. You can get it on www.HarperCollins.com or www.HarperCollins.co.uk and also on Amazon. Docs Who Rock The Mic Nii Darko This is a podcast featuring doctors who don't mind expressing themselves with a mic in their face. Take a listen to creative doctors who have learned not to be defined by their white coats. Sound Signature Sound Signature Sound Signature: A symbol or icon defined by things heard. No sound is wrong. No sound is too elusive to escape arrangement, one's signature.Sound Signature: An event, emotion, or feeling described by sound, but not limited to it. Expression given a direction. A focus through arrangement, our personal language at any given moment. No one can duplicate your signature, your mark, your life. The difference between imitation and emulation is specific experience. No one else has walked your path, lived your vision. There is no right or wrong way, only different ways as there are different people. We will learn reverence from each other through expressing our symbols, our hieroglyphs. Silver not only defined Nevada, but influenced the opening of the American West as far as San Francisco. Dan De Quille (pseudonym for William Wright) wrote extensively on the history of mining in the area of Nevada, and published the larger work “The Big Bonanza” assisted by Mark Twain, both of whom were part of the Sagebrush School of writers. - Summary by Larry Wilson
