S1E3 - Cancer Killa - with Connie McLean

In this episode, we are joined by Connie McLean - a fellow dancer and friend of Tammy, who calls herself the Cancer Killa! Connie has had multiple cancers since she was 24 years old (now 58) and has dealt with several doctor visits, stints in the hospital, all kinds of treatments, hospice and even planned her own funeral! Connie so poised and professionally shares her story and how she gained the perspective she has after having to pivot throughout her entire life and how medical stress and physical distress affected her marriage, her relationship with her daughter, and her work. Superhero Connie has beat cancer and continues to live life with an amazing mindset and is a true inspiration to us all on how to listen to our bodies, take advice, but advocate for ourselves, to seek faith, go after our own strength and remain positive and hopeful.
