Today’s guest is the incredible Deodge Hill, a woman whose resilience, faith, and purpose have shaped an inspiring life story. I first met Deodge through a networking group, and from the moment I heard her journey, I as well as others knew it needed to be shared.As a young college student, Deodge became a mother and was blessed to meet a kind, supportive friend who would later become her husband. Together for 12 years, they built a beautiful life and raised four children. But tragedy struck when her husband, a police officer, was shot in the line of duty and later passed away after a long hospital battle.In the years that followed, Deodge worked to support her family as a single mother. Eventually, she met someone new, but that relationship took a dark turn when his controlling behavior escalated to verbal abuse and threats to her life. Choosing courage over fear, she made a plan to leave—protecting herself and her family.Through every hardship, Deodge’s unwavering faith in God carried her forward. She knew her life had a greater purpose, and today, she channels her experiences into running multiple nonprofits and helping others through health and wellness initiatives.Deodge’s story is one of perseverance, faith, and service.
