S1E5 - The Constitutions and Assize of Clarendon

In this, the Fifth Episode of Power & Politics: Unraveling History, we look at The Constitutions and Assize of Clarendon. These were two documents which came about during the reign of Henry II of England, but to understand how he got to the throne, you need to first understand The Anarchy, when King Stephen and Empress Mathilda fought each other for the throne of England.The concepts introduced in the Constitutions and the Assize touch upon our Freedom of Religion, Trial by Jury, the concept of a Grand jury, and thoughts on Evidence.Some of the background music is by Algal the Bard, and I hope he is okay with me usuing some of his Bardcore music.
