Hello, and Welcome Back to Chris Reid’s Short Stories. In this episode, The Quiet Man by Maurice Walsh, we go to Ireland, where Shawn Kelvin has returned to Kerry after seeking his fortune across the sea in America. What he wants is peace, but peace comes at a price when the love of his life is the sister of his biggest rival. This is my first attempt at an Irish accent, so forgive the momentary out of character moments. It was a really fun episode to record and I hope you have fun listening.
