Katie Farinas is a mom, seasoned nurse, a yoga teacher and host of the soon to be released podcast, Mom On The Verge. Katie has been passionate about all thing’s health and wellness from a young age. However, after battling postpartum depression after the birth of her first child, becoming a chronic migraine sufferer in her mid 30’s, and parenting a teenager with sign cant mental health struggles, she was forced to examine the impact our mental health has on our physical health and how intimately those two things are connected. Taking a deep dive into the mind body connection Katie became a certied yoga teacher, a regular meditator and a warrior for improving mental health. Katie believes in the power of authentically sharing our truth to help heal ourselves and others, the importance of community and how love and compassion can spread outward like ripples in a pond to create a kinder, safer and more equitable world. In her free time Katie enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, hanging with her kids and husband and reading all things spiritual.
