S1E9 - Dreams
from Subtle Frequencies
Is there a deeper meaning to a dream? Are dreams cryptic messages that need to be decoded? Could they be prophesies? If you die in a dream, do you die in real life? Pan has no idea. But, as luck would have it, our guest this week knows all about dreams, and she's ready to answer any and all questions you may have about them. Tonight, as you drift off to sleep, don't think of all the mistakes you've made, or all the people who hurt you in the past. Think of all the fond memories you have of the song "Incinerate" by Phosphene. And, when you wake up check out their bandcamp phosphenepdx.bandcamp.com/ or maybe their instagram @phosphene_pdx. Sweet Dreams Content Warning: brief references to mortal danger and severe bodily harm via crushing, knives, fireworks, knives, and needles. Lots of explicit discussion of derealization, comas, and the feeling that maybe one caller is living in a dream. Some discussion of attacks/ dismemberment via large cryptids. Brief description of mugging/ assault. Absurd threats of dream based gun violence. Many references to sexuality and sexual dreams. Many references to abstinence only education. A couple references to decapitation.
