S1E9 - Episode 9 - Nick Green of Here For Now Theatre and Crow's Theatre's "Dinner with the Duchess"

Happy New Year! I'm kicking off 2025 with an awesome episode featuring one of my favourite playwrights Nick Green. Nick is a Dora Mavor Moore, Elizabeth Sterling Haynes, and Tom Hendry award winning playwright and book writer based in Toronto. You might know him from his plays like Casey and Diana, which had sold-out runs at both the Stratford Festival and Soulpepper, or his musicals In Real Life, Dr Silver, or The Last Timbit.  Dinner with the Duchess, a psychological thriller about life in the arts, enjoyed a successful run at the 2019 Next Stage Theatre Festival, and will be produced again as part of the 2024 Here for Now Festival and now is part of Crow’s Theatre’s season.   Nick and I get into the three plays of his which I saw in 2024, along with what audiences can expect from the new run of Dinner with the Duchess at Crow’s.
