S2 E1 | Lee's Story

Happy Mother's Day! We're BACK! After a VERY long hiatus, Mom with Issues is back for Season 2. This season it's not just me. Join me and my friends as we discuss all of our issues. These incredible women will share their stories, pitfalls and triumphs. We'll cover everything from Domestic Violence, mental health, chronic illness, recovery and so much more. On this episode, join me and my friend Lee as she tells her story of escaping domestic abuse. When her husband tried to take her life, Lee fought for herself and her son. She's 6 months free and here to tell the tale. You can follow Lee, her journey and all of her amazing advocacy work over on Tiktok at @transcendingtrauma You can hear more about Lee's Foster Care story on the Wards of the State Podcast Episode 17 "Lee Lee" Links & Resources Tiktok:@themomwithissues In the US you can get help at the domestic violence hotline: 800-799-7233.
