In this episode, you will meet Heather Lyon. Heather has been on a quest for defining engagement and shares in this podcast the story behind her journey. She started by trying to understand exactly what is engagement and how do I know when I see it. Heather has a new book out and she tells all about how she came up with the title. Fun Fact: while unicorns are not real, narwhals are.  Heather identifies some key indicators on what it means to be engaged and shares them. Key questions cover: How can you find engagement? Exactly what is it and how do you know you found it?  Heather is a former English teacher and has a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Ed.M. in Reading from the University at Buffalo.
