We preview the upcoming (abbreviated) Subway Series that begins tonight with Max Scherzer donning the bump, being opposed by Luis Severino as well as tomorrows Verlander/Cole showdown. While we're excited for the inner-city rivalry, we discuss the fact that the Mets are coming off of a roadtrip that saw them lose 5 of 6 which included a sweep at the hands of the Braves. We touch upon the ups and downs that is currently both the Mets pitchers and bats as well as point out a Billy Eppler failure or two thus far.
