On this Episode of Rehash: a web3 podcast, we sat down with Stefen Deleveaux. Stefen is a Growth Lead at Govrn, the President of Caribbean Blockchain Alliance, and a contributor to several DAOs. We kickoff the episode getting to know Stefen, his background, and how he initially got interested in web3. Stefen compares DAOs to co-ops and we discuss their similarities and differences. We chat about what’s great about the DAO ecosystem today and what still needs some improvement, all while looking at past models of governance to figure out what works and what doesn’t. We talk about the downsides of token based governance, and the upsides of hybrid-token-NFT governance, and the general best practices DAOs should follow.
