I haven’t spoken my heart on anything of this nature in years, BUT THAT MUST CHANGE NOW! When the history is told of how we replaced slavery and Jim Crow with mass incarceration unnecessary and unjustifiable use of force resulting in the disproportionate deaths of black & brown bodies, what side will you stand on? What will your grand children read about you? Are you complicit? Do you just turn a blind eye and focus on business as usual? Do you act as if we’re making it all up & it’s not really that bad? Well it is that bad! These murderers must begin to be held accountable! That’s the only way real change will occur! I will not be silent!
