S2:E17 - Highly Successful, Fabulous at Life & Secretly in Despair. This is Zara's Story.

from Who Turned The Lights On? · host Shannon Eastman

#CPTSD #MyStory - This is my first episode from the "My C-PTSD Story" theme. Zara joins me to share her experience of life before she was diagnosed with C-PTSD, what it was like in the early days of the diagnosis, and what life in recovery can feel like. A powerful story from the 'highly successful, fabulous at life, secretly in despair' lens that finally brought Zara to a grinding halt. This story is shared to inspire you, remind you that you are not alone in this, and reassert that there is a way out.  As it goes, the steps out of the void are pretty clear and consistent in nature. It will be 'How' you navigate those steps out of the void, that will be unique to you.  Body work, body work, body work, and body work, on your own and-or faciltiated by another, is recommended.  Some helpful resources are included here:  Stephanie Hartwell, The Closure Coach, UK, can be found over here > https://www.facebook.com/stephanie.burton.104 Roseanne Reilly, Building Bridges Back to Your Soul, NY, NY, USA can be found here > https://www.linkedin.com/in/roseanne-reilly-3014a0200/ Clara Jana Vavrova, Constellations, Prague, Czech Republic, can be found here > https://www.facebook.com/jana.vavrova.3517 Dr. Gabor Mate's - The Wisdom of Trauma, Facebook Group can be found here > https://www.facebook.com/groups/765092144141751/?hoisted_section_header_type=recently_seen&multi_permalinks=1284937748823852 Be my guest?  If you would like to share your C-PTSD story, details on how to do that can be found on the podcast website: www.traumainformedgrowth.life - hover your mouse over the ABOUT tab in the primary navigation.
